Do u have to remove the ring and box for it to start or can u just donthe chip

If I leave any of the other stuff on but take the chip out of the ecu will it still work or do I have to remove the ring the box and immobilizer for it to work

no you dont have to, you can leave all there, maybe unplug the electical connector from steering column plastic things near ignitio lock, and you are good to go
