When Eastenders was half decent good actors and scripts where did it all go wrong for show

I feel sorry for Vicki, hearing Dirty Den - her own father basically saying that he prefers Sharon over her. I mean, you don't choose out of your children who you care more than the other. Vicki brought Dirty Den back to Albert Square to reunite with Sharon and that's the thanks Vicki gets? Hearing from her own Dad's mouth that no-one even Vicki comes close to Sharon. That's just disgusting!

It's sad that he didn't get to see his child, but it's sadder their child will never reach 25. It's so odd watching the scenes that both Dennis's are gone.

Can’t believe they killed Dennis Jnr… wounder if they do a return like what they’d done with den ….. and too top it off they killed little Denny off as well basically killing of the male side of Dennis … I know he’s had a little girl by little Denny but he had no son so they’ve also cut the family line on that side which is sad….

Sharon is a great mother. She really looked after Vicky. Shame when she had Denny she didn't have Dennis and spoiled him too much. He needed the firm hand of a father. Adi didn't even show Vicky's clothes. He didn't know everything. Later she thought Sharon and Dennis wanted her to stay behind to get it on 😂

Johnny was a scumbag and so is Phil. Like all those old time gangsters getting other people to do their dirty work. Phil just couldn’t keep his big fat mouth shut, even for Sharon who was supposed to be his best mate. He knew what was at stake but went ahead and told Dennis anyway. Dennis was right, Phil always walked around with a dark cloud over him, hating the fact that everyone else was happy and he wasn’t. In later years he caused the boat crash which killed Dennis’s son. The feud he had with Den Watts aswell. He’s basically destroyed Sharon’s happiness and if this was real life she would hate him, but you watch the show now, and she acts like nothing is wrong between her and Phil. He ruined her life. Johnny killed Andy Hunter so Dennis deserved justice and revenge. That’s how the script should’ve been written. Dennis kills Johnny and leaves with Sharon. Having said that I still think Eastenders will bring back Nigel Harman soon as Dennis, as long as they make up a believable storyline. It’s very possible. They could say Dennis already knew about the threat of Johnny, and wore protection after making a deal with the police. That he wanted to keep Sharon and the baby safe. So he faked his death left Walford, and started a new life. I like the whole “like father like son” concept of Dennis returning from the dead, just like Den did all those years ago. He would be the perfect hardman to take over from Phil, who’s an old man now. Eastenders can make it happen 💯

Knew Sharon was bothered because her mother rejected her when she found her. She was horrible to Sharon and so was her husband and she didn't know her siblings. Sharon met some of them later at her mother's funeral and didn't introduce herself. Wonder if Sharon regretted meeting Dennis after losing him or maybe not because he probably only found happiness with her and Vicky as his mother wasn't great growing up. It was funny Vicky and Dennis had their mothers' names but not Sharon who was adopted. Den had a creepy relationship with her too

Pauline was so up herself. Sharon went on about Den too much but she wasn't Vicky's only family. She had a right to know

I usually hate Vicki, she was the personification of a yeast infection, but it was nice that she stood up for Dennis.

Phil caused it all. If he left Dennis each time he was going to be with Sharon, she'd be fine. Saying he's looking out for her. Should have done that by leaving Dennis and Sharon alone. He wasn't doing Sharon a favour by 'sorting' Johnny out. He caused it all. Ruby talking about was Phil threatening him. He tried to threaten Phil. How come Johnny let Juley get away with what he did to Ruby. Weird

The nerve of Johnny to say let him live for his daughter's sake yet took Dennis from his unborn baby. Someone would have found him but he wanted Dennis attacked before he left the country, exactly why Sharon wanted to leave. Why did Sharon let Ian drag her to the party?

Did Sharon tell Dennis Johnny threatened him? Maybe he'd have backed off. He really loved her and if he thought Johnny would harm him, he would have stayed away. Sharon was telling him everything but that his life was in danger. He wanted to stay whereas he'd always wanted to leave before. How did Dennis realise something was wrong with Sharon but not why she was scared?

Sharon was clearly scared when she woke up, thinking something had happened to Dennis. Why didn't he use his brains and realise his behaviour was stressing his wife out? She was terrified of something happening to him with Johnny and he just kept goading Johnny

Wanted to punch Dennis. Sharon warned him stop annoying Johnny. He didn't take it seriously, thought annoying Johnny was more important than his new baby and wife. Even Pat knew immediately Dennis should back off. Dennis only laughed. He did that to his wife and son

How could Den a scumbag have nice kids? Sharon was sweet, Dennis kind but troubled and Vicky knew Den provoked Dennis in some way as he was smiling after mocking his abuse? He never treated them well and Vicky left because he said he only loved Sharon. Dennis was right, he called Dennis sick for 'fancying his sister' yet Den acted like he had feelings for his adopted daughter who he raised, possessive of her and saying he was all she needed 🤮

Did Dennis take Jim's scotch and pay for it? So sweet. Sharon's words were so cruel. Den manipulated her a lot at the start. He provoked Dennis by mocking a possible abuse and didn't care about his own son. Sharon was better off without Den and better with Dennis

Dennis' problem is that he underestimated Johnny. He shoulda known that Johnny isn't someone you wanna rub up the wrong way. Maybe, this is where he needed Den.
