In 1994 a good friend moved to Huntington beach Cali from st louis missouri. When he came back to the lou he had a tape like in pre cd of the 40oz of freedom album. At about the same time my cousin moved from detroit with a rage against the machine demo... I was only 14 but i completely fell in love with the complexity of every song. From hip hop to punk to reggae to one of my favorites badfish and a grateful dead cover i was hooked!!! RIP Jerry Garcia the reason i picked up a guitar!!

love TSOL, they where my entry to punk thru tape trading, I lived in NCs blue ridge mountains and responded to someone thru cream magazine, hearing TSOL changed my life, loved them ever since, even 1 of the joe albums but only one of them

I'm not really a fan of these guys but I can say that for one thing, this is massive for the newer metal scene and I also find it hilarious how a lot of Jimmy's audience got so offended by this that they want them to issue a formal apology for having them on. I bet half of those people probably loved hearing Slipknot on Conan back in the Iowa days too when they were swearing a lot in their songs and there weren't too many instances of clean singing compared to later on, so they may as well cry more
