Moin Schorsch, da sind dir echt schöne Aufnahmen gelungen und mit Kommentar ist Tierfilm doch viel unterhaltsamer. Tolle Bilder vom Biber, erst dachte ich noch ein Nutria, aber nein du hast wirklich schöne Aufnahmen von den sonst so scheuen Bibern gemacht. Klasse! beste Grüße vom Grünen Band, Bernd

I'm using a Canon 200D II which is EF mount and I am also using the same lens but instead it is JINTU brand with a EF mount ring to connect body to lens, can this still be done?

Danke für dieses wunderschöne Video. Musste grad mal nachschauen, wo dieses Gebiet ist :-) - ich werde nächsten Mai am Boden 1 Woche Urlaub machen - und div. Orte des Bodenseee Biotop-Verbunds besuchen. Der See ist allerdings schon etwas aus meiner Reichweite. Aber: Ich werde mir das schon mal merken🙂

Schönes Video mit tollen Aufnahmen und Eindrücken. Der Federsee ist oft mein Ziel, habe nur 30 Minuten zu fahren. Wenn du das nächste Mal kommst empfehle ich dir das Frühjahr, dann kannst du auch Blaukehlchen sehen und mit Glück auch etliche Braun- und Schwarzkehlchen. Oder z.B. November, dann gibt's sehr viele Bartmeisen. Momentan sind auch einige Kornweihen zum Überwintern hier. Viele Grüße Harald

For what I can see the performance look is much better then a mirror lens 500mm f8. With the Mirror Lens birds don't look sharp. It's more like a blur on the image besides that the color rendering of a mirror lens is more like "video log image" or dull colors. So you need color correct each image. I assume this is not the case with this lens. I'm considering using on a Nikon D7200. This is a DX sensor. The D7200 you can use non cpu lens. What about chromatic aberation? Does this improves @ F8 or do you need always to stop down to F16 or more?

Hi for objects far away,you can use f6,3,but when you come closer and closer to the objekt it looks more blurry. I don't know why it is, but i use f16 when I come closer than 15 metres to the objekt. Thank you for watching best regards

Repeating my comment here for more engagement on this video: This video needs waaaaaay more visibility. I tried it out and you were 100% right, these cheap super-telephoto are usable as long as you create an aperture mask, tripod mount, and use a remote/delayed shutter. My shutter speeds are a bit slower now because of the reduced light, but the clarity is much better and the chromatic aberration is basically all gone! I did it using a $65 Ultramaxx brand one from amazon.

But that's exactly what appeals to me. If you have more money to spend, perhaps the TTartisan is the better choice?

Hm,I don't know,but someone commented under my other video,that with the aperture ring at full frame it comes to edge shading. It's best to just try it out.😁

in the beginning i had a ring with a smaller diameter,but there was hardly any light on the sensor. but i think it was a bit sharper with it. try it out.😁👍

I bought this lens, they are coming. but the videos on KZbin discouraged me, because everyone was talking bad about this lens, but you are showing how incredible it can be. These images are very professional, I'm excited to try to perform like you

Hi glaucopedro Thank you for comment.Take your time and it will work.😉👍 The problem is that this lens would never be bought by a professional photographer who can take good photos. Most of those who buy it are beginners and, which is understandable, don't want to invest a lot of money in expensive photo- equipment Of course, the quality of this lens is not comparable to an expensive lens, but with a little experience, you can still take good images with it. (watch my other video on how you can improve the optical quality a bit) Unfortunately, many beginners upload footages here , which further degrades the performance of the lens.

It's so crazy. One of the biggest problems with these cheap lenses is the chromatic abberation, and now it seems like the only thing you can change. But removing it makes the quality several times better, and if you're not a pixel peeper or don't care about the quality being perfect, this looks like the best lens now.

Amazing way to address chormatic aberratic. I supposed, playing with the hole diameter, it could improve chromatic aberration at fixed focal lengths (400 - 800mm).

just remember that this is not "free", it comes at the cost of light. So while "stepping down" might reduce CA, it also reduces light, so essentially it becomes a (even) slower lens.

I thought this was a joke at first, so I applied the idea to my Centon 500mm Mirror lens, which BTW are know to have soft images and prone to CA. The results, although not totally removing CA from high contrast subjects, the CA and sharpness were improved 100% All I did was get a 72-58mm step down ring. 😊
