mate your so wrong, it will have the same number of cells, definitely fact......otherwise it would not make 18v and would not power your drill, also would not charge. your so so wrong. the diffence is cheaper cells, that guess what? they weigh less, cant believe you came to that conclusion so so wrong, i bet you £1000 if you open that battery it will have the right number of cells, wanna make a bet with me?????????? thumbs down and no subscribe
@bodgeitwithbrian3 ай бұрын
Packs of this size should have 10 18650 cells in them but you only need 5 at 3.6v to get to 18v as I said in the video it's suspisiouse that the battery is front heavy and that it is significantly lighter. Interestingly I bought some more from the same supplyer and they are actually heavier. I would imagine the aftermarket makers buy what ever cells are at a good price and build a pack accordingly. They could do quite a lot with the charging board to cater for many battery combinations. but in short, yes there could absolutly be less than 10 cells inside and for it to apear to work the same as an original. Hope this helps

I just bought a 36V Makita weedwhacker and I also purchased the pole, saw attachment to the powerhead that came with String trimmer, which I instantly installed a brush cutter on, but yes, it came with that DC 18 RD charger and it’s awesome charges two batteries at the same time instead of oh my God, a two battery charger that charges only one battery at a time. And after going for about an hour and a half with the Weedwhacker with most of the time, probably 45 minutes as a brush with a solid steel blade 15 minutes, cleaning up as a string the battery is still full(2x 5a) Yes, I I bought it because I have about 20 batteries. I got houses and shit and it’s all Makita so why not buy Makia outdoor equipment to go hunting for fuel and two-stroke oil. it wasn’t really about the environment part but I could fix my gas weed whacker or I could just do this and this involves battery charger which I do every day or having to go get a goddamn fuel can and fucking oil. yes I am the struggling environmentalist. I’d rather do it this way
@bodgeitwithbrian4 ай бұрын
My 36v brush cutter is the best garden tool I own. It has so much power, lightweight, reliable, no vibration and quiet. I wish I'd bought the split shaft for the other attachments but for the price it was a no brainer
@justkidshavinfun7644 ай бұрын
Did you find it gave the tool more power? I find the impact gun to be a bit weak. Instead of buying another (milwaukee) i thought id try upgrading the battery first
@bodgeitwithbrian4 ай бұрын
The small 10.8v drivers are ok for small jobs and they are lightweight. Typically we have been using them for plaster board screws. The off market replacements are not t better than the originals, they are just cheaper. The 18v LXT Makita impacts are good value but it f you are switching battery platforms there are lots to choose from. I guess what helps decide is what other tools do you want?

I found your video when researching this saw since I found it at a great price (2/3 of the original price) but the feedback made me unsure about the purchase. Mostly people complain about the Fence and the Miter Guide, as well as the sliding table. Reviews say they are poor build quality and wobbely, resulting in non-square cuts. Is this something you experienced as well? If you have how have you delt with it? I also see in your video that the table is completely flat unlike the other videos I saw which had lots over groves in the table, I assume that might be the older version (with a plastic black plate). Seams like your saw is the same saw as what I am looking at since both have flat tables. Have you noticed any improvements in build quality from the older saw to the new one? Other then the black plate around the blade now being metal.

In all honesty I sold them. Yes they are wobbly and the fence is weak. For on site I prefer the smaller lighter evolution tools saws or some of the battery saws

The Dyson itself was about £120 second hand on eBay, look for one with a broken battery, you won't need it or the charger. Or sell those parts off to make your conversation even better value which is what I did. After a few months of use I love it but I only get 50% out of the battery. The Dyson has a low voltage cut out which probably prolongs the battery
