Thanks! I can't take credit for the sunset, someone else gave me the idea. I think it suits the track very well, but I only wish it was a proper remake instead of a tour port to go with the sunset, then it would be complete.

I thought about it but the super long stretched dash panels are honestly way more unique and interesting than the 40th instance of a glider ramp in the game, plus there's already a glider in the form of the cannon.

There are times where I've considered using fan remixes, but a personal pet peeve I have is often custom tracks use remixes that don't respect the original music, straight up just don't fit the track or I just simply don't like the choice, and I wouldn't want to do the same, so I always try to use the original music wherever applicable just because it's the most consistent and what one would most commonly expect, or at least enjoy.

@@CasiniLoogi as someone who is just getting into CT creation, I totally understand your sentiment. Sometimes I do rather the original because I like staying as true to the original as possible. But on the other hand, 16 bit music in my opinion doesn’t fit Mariokart 8. So for games like Double Dash, Wii, or 7, I see that as a fine approach, not so much for the SNES and GBA tracks. But hey your Koopa Beach turned out WAY better than the one I tried to make so who am I to judge 😂
