I want to make this so bad but just cant follow..soo frustrating....your probably tired of this but you need to show each individual step slowly deliberately and close up...Im sorry to complain...I even tried zooming in and in slow motion

I saw your first video and I loved that you used the word "pocketbook" instead of purse! I grew up hearing and saying "pocketbook" and I never hear it anymore. Ok .. back on topic. Thanks for the tutorial remake and don't be so hard on yourself about your video making skills. The more someone does something, the better (and easier) it gets for them. Btw, your leaves are probably dancing because they've partaken in the wacky weed. 😁 I definitely like the dancing legs better than it hanging upside down. That would drive me absolutely crazy-ER thinking about my jewelry being upside down. LOL! 😄 Thanks again!👍🙂

Thank you for the re-do, this was much better :) I find for myself using the memory wire cutters work nicely on harder wire, I have a tough time with the heavier tools. Question - the blue & white handle pliers that you used mostly, what are they called and or where did you get them? I have seen them before and unable to locate them, I could really use something like that. Looking forward to your upcoming videos. Have a great day.
@MJsBlues6 ай бұрын
The flat nose pliers are a set of 4. They are actually for prong creating, but very handy for a lot more. The creator is Preston Ruther. I'm not sure where to get them, I got mine 10 years ago lol.

Your last couple of videos have been terribly blurry and very hard to watch. The out of focus makes it really difficult to see the methods you use as well as the finished product.

I wasted the last of my 18 gauge in order for this video to frustrate me to a point of delirium and absolute feudal rage. I absolutely wanted to learn how to make a copper wire pot leaf I mean who the flip doesn't? If anyone has figured out how to do this and it doesn't hate everyone that's trying to also figure it out, And you have enough common sense to keep your knuckles out of the camera view, by all means enlighten me. I want not only my time back but the copper wire damn it.
@tlojewelrylove3 ай бұрын
I haven't seen the remake of this tutorial but I wanted to mention there are lots and lots of tutorials that clearly show and explain how to wire wrap starbursts and/or sunbursts. The reason I mention this is because the WRAPPING METHOD IS EXACTLY THE SAME so you may be able to watch one of the other tutorials and successfully make this (or a) pot leaf. The difference in the starbursts and pot leaf will be the number of leaf segments (7-leaf or 5-leaf pot plant) and how tall you want your leaf segments. You just have to be sure to make the right side be a mirror image (same number of wraps per segment) to the left side. If you wanted it taller than the one shown here, you'd just need to add more base wires/rungs (I like to call them "rungs" like a step ladder) upon which you do the wraps. Anyway, you've probably figured out by now how to do this but if not, I hope this info helps. Good luck! 🍀😊
@acidrain8711 Жыл бұрын
When you go back up are you doing two wires also?
@MJsBlues Жыл бұрын
Not sure what you're asking but you wrap 2 wires each wrap. This will make a more prominent leaf point. You can wrap one also. It comes out the same just not as fluffy looking (if that makes sense)
