Nowhere in the Bible does it say a day is 24hours. It clearly states God called light day and darkness night. Leave it at that. Nothing to do with time. We are not to add to or subtract from the Word of God. Nobody knows what time is. We all know light and darkness. When it's light on earth it's day and when it's dark it's night. Constantly changing in time. Days are longer on different planets and different times of the year on planet earth. The earth rotation is slowing down also. Stop arguing about what we know nothing about. When God said let there be light and separated it from the dark, there was not solar system.

I think Dr Hugh Ross is a great astrophysicist and how he uses science to validate the Bible butt speaking on the flood though what do you do with Genesis 7:19 and 20 talks about every Mountain under the heavens were covered with water up to 15 cubits over the highest mountains what do you do with that scripture

What evidence does Ross have for saying that God made all these bi pedal humanoids as a preparation for homo sapiens! I studied the history of human origins at university and this was never mentioned! I think Ross is clearly creating his own narrative! He believes in God and has to make out that God made them! This is nonsense! If God did create these creatures what scientific evidence does he have! How can Ross disagree with scientists who do evolutionary science when he has clearly never studied the subject!

Nobody knew what the opposite color of white was so the artists avoided painting white on white. The opposite color of white is baby blue and baby pink. I was glad to hear mention of fusion nuclear power . I also heard that this was taped in 2022 . In late 2023 , there was a break through in fusion energy where you can now get more out of it than you have to put into it ! It’s been a long time coming and I’m sure still needs some “fine tuning”, but we are here ! This is great news for humanity and I hope we can get this technology to market sooner rather than later .

With all respect, I think you are wrong. The Bible is truth but the bible never claims that is scientific book. The bible has a different perspective, but not neccesarilly contradicts the science. In a sense the Bible answers questions like "why"...but the science answers question like "how". Whatever is true God stablish in that way. All the knowledge and intelligence came from God.

Gods word is God breathed (2nd Timothy 3:16) Just because the Bible is not specifically a science text book does not mean God lied to us when he said he created the physical universe in 6 days and rested for 1. Or when Gods told us the flood of Noah’s time covered the whole earth. Ross denies what God said, and perverts scripture and adds billions of years because he sees the Big Bang story as more authoritative than scripture. James 1:27 says we as believers are to keep from being contaminated by the world. Ross and others are very contaminated, and teach others to accept worldly contamination also. #2. You said: In a sense the Bible answers questions like "why"...but the science answers question like "how". The interpretation of things that occurred in the past cannot be validated with certainty, like our technology. All our technology is based on The Scientific Method. It is observable, testable, and the tests are repeatable under controlled conditions, giving the same result each time. That is real science. However, speculations about the past cannot be validated like real science. Also, scientists often have VERY different interpretations of evidence. Scientists are not infallible, and they very often come to very wrong conclusions about the past, especially those who do not adhere to a biblical worldview. In fact, The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) has revealed The Big Bang predictions about deep space were completely wrong. Yet, Christian Astrophysicist Dr. Jason Lyell made predictions of what the JWST would find from a biblical view of cosmology, and the biblical timeline. All his predictions, based on scripture were correct, while Big Bang predictions were totally wrong. So, you see, Big Bang is not science. It is speculation that contradicts what God told us. The Bible says not to conform to this fallen world. And 2nd Corinthians 10:5 instructs us to destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God. Big Bang and evolution are 2 lofty speculations that have been raised against the knowledge of God. I hope you will consider this. Interesting presentation. Mr. Ross might be to much science. Mules are the offspring of a male donkey and female horse. Not horse & mule make a donkey. However, donkey are as Mr. Ross says. But horses can buck really hard.

Very good presentation. Dr. Ross is wisdomized higher than average astronomer or astrophysicist. Especially, as he calibrates the Bible with science. However, I feel dinosaurs roamed on land. Not only did they have hard bone structure but had much more muscle with little fat. Made strong to walk the land. Like super giant trees and a lot of vegetation with geart abundance of supercharged oxygen. For some reason I perceive oil grows like seaweed but takes much longer to decompose into a oil. There is just too much oil. All created for benefit of inspired humans for our time. Human kind is now permitted to be super refined like gold and silver as stated in Bible. To make a choice left or right, to be a grain or weed. Such is reasons to believe as I have Faith, Hope, and pray to strengthen my spirit.

Hello Dr. Ross mentioned Adam born about 20 thousand years ago or more. However, after adding up generations in Bible Adam was created almost 7 thousand years ago. Yet I believe humans existed before 7 T ago. Why is there such a huge discrepancy? Maybe God created humans more than 20 T ago without the spirit of God but with Adam God breathed a spirit in the human called Adam. 😊

M82 galaxy (Messier 82) is being/has been observed by Hubble, NuSTAR, and James Webb telescopes. There is a fascinating pulsar "X-2" which is 10 million times brighter than our sun. The M82 is 12 million light years away. The universe is ancient. Moses says this is Gensis 1:1 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the Earth. Space, time, matter, and energy - God created all. The YEC view does not do biblical hermeneutics justice. Unfortunately, people hear this view and are completely turned off because the evidence contradicts it. Christians should be lovers of God and lovers of truth. To love people made in God's image means telling the truth. Scientific discoveries are consistent with God and scripture. The universe is ancient and incredible. It shows the beauty and majesty of God's mind and creativity. Trillions of galaxies declare God's power.

I get annoyed with the studio that filmed these lectures the noise, the bad camera angles and the loss of words. I try to forward and end up in another lecture. Very annoying. I can not handle it anymore bye-bye. Eventually it may come around again. Or the library may have his books 📚

Dr. Ross, I am very interested in seeing the visual aids that you use with your presentations. Is it possible for us to acquire them in a PowerPoint format and/or as JPG or PNG graphics format? I don't use any "social media" and I'm not going to create accounts for any of that, so I just need to be able to see the visuals, preferably with some sort of reference system, (Fig 001, Fig 002, etc.) so that I can figure out when the visuals would appear in a given presentation. I've noticed that some of your other videos on KZbin show you speaking with your visuals on an adjacent display -- I'd like to see those in a full-screen size since I'm going blind from diabetic complications. I'm sure that many others would like to see the visuals also. <3

As a Christian, I do think the Bible is the word of God, yet I struggle with the timeline for the creation of Adam and the existence of dinosaurs etc. It seems to me that the Bible does not explain everything, but when we find evidence from the past, the Bible stands firm. 🇬🇧✝️

Dinosaur is a term created in the 1800’s. The terms in the Bible are behemoth and leviathan. Dinosaurs didn’t die out 65 million years ago. They lived at the same time as humans. There are early drawings in South America showing humans riding on the backs of what appear to be a brontosaurus. Plus, a painting from the medieval times showing people riding on them as well. The term they used back then was dragons.
