I also would of preferred more of a thrilling drop but then Adventure Island is aimed more at a family market. Maybe Skydrop will soon be removed and its more of a like for like swap?? Lets hope we see the return of some more intense flats like Time Machine and Devils Dance (dragons claw) in the near future for us lot!

@@CoasterHypeTroy The inversion record was broken twice but the height record stood still ... honestly I can't believe Thorpe did not break the height record with Stealth ... It is quite odd they would have built something so close to taking the record but just not quite there ... I agree, it wont last, I think Hyperia is going to ignite a coaster war in the UK if not all of Europe

@@CoasterHypeTroy There has got to be a story, it was so close and just fell short, and at the time it was already proven that model could go over twice as high, it has always kind of baffled me and seemed like a missed opportunity - and yes coaster wars seem to be on the horizon for both the UK and US which is amazing and long overdue

@CoasterHypeTroy it was advertised looking like a thrill ride not a kids that's my hate wouldn't have cared if it was always aimed at kids or families was misleading

No sadly not they closed it towards the end of last season, although you can still see the ride standing but not operating on the hill - hopefully another coaster/flat ride replaces it soon👀
