Thank you For mirroring the video ./ so I don't have to visually & mentally reverse thought figure this out. I started learning Connecticut Halftime starting the roll on the right, then after yars I learned thtat it is actually starting the roll with the left. so I can relearn this correctly.. Thank you so much for sharing! You're right, he seems to have cracked the soca rhythm. I am still drumming of course and learning more all the time. At the time I made this video I was new to playing the soca rhythm and inspired by a Calypso band I play Congas in. Last year I had the opportunity to play with Ray Holman himself. I have a stand that mounts two toms I can squeeze in front of my snare if I want to, but I'm not against mounting off the bass drum if I need to.

I personally play with a ride that’s higher and tilted down bc I have 2 rack tom and 2 floor toms I can play jazz with it

Sooo satisfying...bringing practical to perfection. ...must say I like your drum set • set up..., but I LOVE the backbreaking part. I found that part moat informative, hahaha...happens to be the only drumming move I've mastered...

Thanks! I agree with you. Pianists and Drummers are the two musicians who seem to go their whole life without tuning their intrument. I don't want to play an out of tune piano haha. I plan on posting more random drum stuff.

I made an error. The reso head is tuned to an F# meaning the interval is a major 3rd not a minor 3rd
