When will you address the Asa Blanton situation? By not taking action against a blatantly racist nursing student at your university, you are basically standing by her racist views. It is unacceptable and terrifying that someone so full of hatred toward people of color is allowed to still be a student at your university. Make no mistake, people will be following this case and will make sure to alert all hospitals, nursing homes, and all doctor’s offices throughout the United States about this person. She’s a menace who would likely harm a POC, and has no business working in healthcare. Her hatred and racism run deep. Shame on you for not taking action against her. It speaks volumes about where you stand.

I worked in that building for a few years back in the early 2000's. I remember all the pushback for cost but it looks like you found the funds. It took you guys long enough to fix it. It's gorgeous.

Er, wait a minute... You show Sam (in a building all by himself, by-the-way) using cardio equipment with a mask on, and yet, throughout almost the entire lifespan of the Rec's existence, I've lost count to the number of posters I've seen plastered throughout the place explaining how high-altitude mask training was prohibited when in all likelihood, it permitted better airflow than the pandemic masks do. The rationale for the high altitude mask ban was always risk to airflow. I know, I know: you're just following science, believing the experts, abiding by CDC guidance, etc., etc., etc... Thing is, this video reinforces neurotic behavior we would all be better off not embracing. It's one thing to show Sam "masking up" when saying "Bye" to the student, but to show him wearing the mask when he's by himself in a building that has HUGE square footage knowing that high altitude masks were always prohibited using equipment prone to inducing high levels of heart rates, a biological context dependent upon adequate airflow? It's just ABSURD.
