Girl if you're looking for the Afro-brazilian community in Rio go to Madureira, I'm sure you'll find lots of hair salons there for your hair type. Also if you like dancing go to baile charme at Viaduto de Madureira or Madureira park lots of RNB linedancing and a really strong black community there, I'm sure you'll love it, lots of girls rocking all the afro hairstyles out there too 🙂

As a gringo myself, living in Rio for 3 years now , I can see you tips are useful , I can tell you Brasilian spot a foreign right away , not for their clothes , not for color , but for they way they carry themselves .Brazil is a beautiful country , Rio is gorgeous, but it's also a bit dangerous, you have to be a little cautious , Copacabana, Ipanema, and Lebron are usually the turist area , so they are the most small crimes are committed, pickpocking and phone stolen . Great video , i give you credit traveling, Solo , it can be a little Scarie and lonely sometimes, i used to travel solo myself, i have been in a few countries, but I remember my first time , i went to Mexico , Acapulco and I was so scared at the moment I got there , and I regretted...lol ( a group of people lost their suitcases on the way to the hotel , so i was like , what I'm doing here ?! , but I had the greatest time , so i decided to travel again and again . Also, I went to Punta Cana , and I noticed you're Dominican . Lol .Have a great time here in Rio , enjoy and take care of yourself.

Personally, it has been going pretty well :) As long as you know the basics-such as hello, yes, no, and thank you-you should be fine. Additionally, trying Duolingo never hurts! That's what has been helping me get by.

I got my industrial piercing about 4 years ago and I honestly love mine! If I could rank the pain 1-10, I'd give it a 6. I would recommend going to an expert, as the healing process is a hit or miss depending on the piercer. I have not experienced any infections and mine healed in 4 months!
