Did you guys do this on the stock suspension that came on the Rallys, or did you have your suspension tuned for your weight/riding type? If you did that with the stock suspension, especially on the 300, my hat's off to you both.

When you ride the back country....its not about IF you are going to crash, its about WHEN you are going to crash. Its happens, especially on these heavy dual sports. It takes a bit more gear and planning (trucks, trailers, etc.) but its a much more enjoyable ride on an enduro or dirt bike.

On this trip we were both riding stock, but I, Jeff, have upgraded the 300 Rally suspension. Swapped to a Ktech spring in the front and the Rally Raid rear shock with adjuster in the back. Night and day difference!

Thanks! Except for one dirt trail in California to break in my 300 and some mountain biking for Josh, this was our first time offroad. We definitely have an improved kit now. Getting out there as often as we can, enjoying the ride!

You know what is perfect about this video? The volume control of the voiceover vs. ambient sounds and music volume in the recording. It’s a great edit sound wise.

Excellent. Can’t wait to see what u have to share. The Rally has been great. It’s more than enough bike for me. It fits the bill very well as I do probably 80/20 on road/off road. Just really I’m enjoying the learning curve with my limited ability and making some modifications along the way.

i'm planning a motorcycle trip to bonneville salt flats. Is there a certain location to go to get on the flats, like a entrance. It looks like in the video you just got on the flats from the road. Can you give some directions?

On HWY80 East of Wendover, you take Exit 4 for Bonneville Speedway. Go North past the Sinclair station then the road turns 90 degrees to the right and you’ll run straight into the flats.
