@@SaphStrumm The blue pallete and the top of the helmet looking like goggles were the main things. The blonde hair too, but I forgot that applies to normal Simon as well, I was thinking more of his Chronicles/Judgement redesign I guess.

He's not actually in this game. Mega Man does take a little from him though as he has a few of X's weapons and can basically dash-jump with his slide

@@SaphStrumm from what I recall, back in a much earlier version, there was a boss stage where you would fight a rematch with Airman, but it was much longer, much harder, and played the instrumental of "Airman ga Taosenai" aka "I can't beat Airman".

The code for that fight was particularly messy and hard to work with.

It was cancelled at one point afaik, but it was then brought back

The project basically ceased development in like 2015 or something. Then pandemic happened in 2018/2019 and one guy with a lot of sudden time on his hands decided to clean up a lot of the game. That ended up basically reinvigorating some people to give this game some proper development for the first time in a while.

Its been cancelled like 5 times over like 20 years. Thankfully, it seems the current team is more organized so we can expect better progress.

I'm not joking when I say I found this through someone bringing it up on some Twitter thread less than a year ago

For some reason Sonic can only seem to get 1 hit in per cycle via jumps. Not sure what's going on there as when I did this fight with Mega Man, Nitro didn't take this long and I was able to get more than 1 hit at a time

@@SaphStrumm Nitro Man bugged out during the fight. He and Turbo Man are supposed to take turns fighting you but an oversight made Turbo came in sooner than he should've (also Nitro Man shouldn't be flying in the first place lol). Anyway, this has been fixed for the next release in the future.

It was meant to be a reference to that one ending in Power Fighters where Wily shows Zero and Bass mocks him, calling him "girlie-looking". It disappointed me a bit when that wasn't referenced in the dialogue, easy opportunity

The Wily fight really was exceptional. But if I may make a suggestion... I think the battle music should have been the one for the Wily Machine from Mega Man 9. That one just hits differently.

I actually do agree about that scene. The whole thing felt incredibly forced, just one extreme reaction and he was completely revoked of the Star Force (even more so considering he never used it after the first game). The inclusion of the whole Mu Metal thing was odd given postgame stuff normally doesn't get carried over to main story. The project has since been shelved, but the creator said that if they were to bring it back, they would redo the story, which I do feel is necessary.

I got it from a page on Sun Miguere (it's still up), which in turn I found from a Reddit thread that came as the first result when I searched "lunar knights codes" after a friend told me to use the master code ("Grand Master") (sorry for the late response)
