Sean, Im thinking about doing this kit as it offers a adjustable W.B.? What is the range of w.b. ?

I believe the wheel base with the Rhino Shark chassis has a pretty good adjustability of 220-280mm

What temp were you soldering the main board with to the cups to wire?

I believe I was at 750 degrees. That has always been my prefered setting. Just dont let it sit for to long on the board and give it time to cool between👍🏼

i find drift art da3\4 to be more flexible and easier to adjust width. but i like the shock design and placement on this one way better. its more conventional to 1\10 scales which makes sense given the pedigree

I haven't played paintball in about the same time. 14 years since I last played. I use to go to SC Village every weekend religiously, but I stopped playing because work picked up and I made too many stupid decisions early on in my career to play paintball instead of being reliable/available for overtime for my employers. Young and dumb decisions. I might go play again in 2025 when spring rolls around.

Great recap, loved all the content throughout the year. I live vicariously through your channel because my closest drift track is two hours away, just not realistic to be competitive. But I still love throwing my MST around the garage for a couple hours a week.

Glad you enjoy it! I really have enjoyed bringing it to so many people here and I could imagine it being tough not having a track close. Its awesome that you have some space to get some fun in still at home still but your right it would be tough to keep up with the level some of these guys are driving at.

Have you been to Combat? Paintballing is so fun till you get hit but that’s what it is all about. What kind of paint ball gun do you have? Sounds like a tournament paintball gun.
@SeanLewisMedia12 күн бұрын
I grew up playing paintball with my dad and we played a lot! Unfortunately he passed away nine years ago but I always kept his old gear because it meant so much to me. Luckily one of those was his 2008 Planet Eclipse Ego that I used in this video. Its an older tournament style gun that is sweet!

@SeanLewisMedia13 күн бұрын
Thank you! Its a fun board to rip around on. I definitely could have grabbed some snot wheels but I liked the idea of the extra width the nano cubics add. Ill probably test other setups over time and see what feels the best!

not understanding how this racing works. I notice the car that starts at the gate on the left side ALWAYS gets ahead immediately after the startgate and that car ALWAYS ends up first at finish line! Very predictable so how is this a race?
@SeanLewisMedia17 күн бұрын
@@vracan this form of competition is not really about the racing. The cars take turns on a their “lead” run. The driver in fronts job is to drift the competition lines that are marked on the track as clean and stylish as possible. The car followings job is to try to match their line and keep as close as possible to the front car without hitting them. It’s more a competion of style and driver style than racing.

When it comes to soldering heat and speed is your friend. Using inadequate heat will heat soak the wires and circuit board. Tin both parts, align them and apply heat to the wire. The heat will transfer through the wire and into the base metal. With a little practice your solder joints will look perfect.
