From a real world pilot: The landing: learn how to fly a proper traffic pattern...proper entry (45 degrees to the downwind) square turns, constant speed, NO hard turns on final esp at lower speeds. Aim for touch down marker 1,000 down cross the threshold at about 65, fly the plane into the flare bleeding off speed so that the airplane stalls (stops flying) when the rear wheels are about 1' above the ground. You were too low and too fast on the final when you had to over correct to get back to the centerline of the runway.

Nice video, but we gliderpilots use to have an angle of 45° at the takeoff, so you get more altitude ;)

Just came from Winnipeg/Gimli/Bloodvein and landed there with the TBM 930 for a Pause. Will have a Lunch and then continue to CYSK. This is gonna be a Tour over Greenland to Iceland and back home Germany.

A friend of mine (the pilot) along with two others died in a Bonanza plane crash after attending a week-end pheasant hunting trip at your nearby "Winner" South Dakota. They flew into a Cat 5 storm returning to Anderson, Indiana on Sunday night. The FAA has partial fault in that accident. A fourth person declined the trip on Friday morning citing his own personal safety concerns as the reasons for not going along. I fly the sim on a new Xbox X for now but intend to go to VR when the video card prices come back down. I did go to Winner in the sim just to check out his last flight take-off. One other person was a medical doctor while the third was the head of Indiana Drug Enforcement.
