so the new gearing makes the top speed closer to 50mph top speed as opposed to the 60/70+mph stated on all the other reviews plus their own website? some reviews coming in on reddit that state the top speed is only 48mph... Wouldn't be lying if I said this isn't disappointing considering I placed my order after watching countless pre release reviews and listed specs on the site that state is can hit 70+... takes it from something I could safely ride on 50mph speed roads (which is why I ordered) that I now can't take anywhere my 2 stroke tomos can't already go.... be lying if this is not extremely disappointing. Idk why bike manufacturers can't just give honest specs. Spent over 5k on a bike only to find out right before release it actually goes 20mph slower than previously advertised. Big yikes

Hey J ..... I know its none of my business but when i see a guy either go down or have a small fender bender ...then right after it i see some dude riding a wheelie without a helmet .... WHomever put together the group ride should say something that maybe they should be mandatory ...... IMHO I think everyone should wear a helmet and i am the first person to say that helmets suck , but they can save your ass in more ways then one . I gotta chime in on the grub , Man that sheet looked bangin' I am a taco and quisedilla fiend .... yes you made me a lil hungry but I just ate before I started watching the video . I asked ya about the rear wheel on your Green Machine but somehow it got lost in transit ..but ..Where did ya grab that SOLID REAR WHEEL AT ? Did ya have it made or did it come on the original bike before the project started ..... I have been looking all over for one and I cannot seem to find one so if possible lemme know ..... Hey 👋 The 2 guys doing wheelies without helmets are trained professionals… j/k They live almost 2 hours away and realized they forgot them after starting their trip so they definitely took a chance there… Thankfully all went well for them… Me to I should be wearing a full face helmet… so I’m no better… but we were fighting almost 10” degrees with severe humidity… I sweated my assets… As for the rear wheel I got it on Instagram and the last o spoke to the guy he tons me he stopped selling them… but it’s definitely custom… just wait til you see the one I have for my RX… 😱🙌💯💪

Real nice of you guys to break several laws by riding in the street on unlicensed vehicles. And these are not e-bikes. They are e-scooters/motorcycles. You guys won't stop until the powers that be make us by license plates and insurance just to ride a bike. I ride in the street only when there is no sidewalk and no traffic on the SIDE like bikes are supposed to do. Stop being selfish and think of others that have to depend on e-bikes for main transportation. Nice video but I gotta be that guy to address the community. And when some ebike guy gets splattered on the pavement, you can guarantee mayor's and politicians are gonna make up more laws on e-bikes.

Ok Ok we did not ride on sidewalks… In NYC that would be illegal… We were at the most part riding with traffic… I’ve only seen two accidents this season and with all the group rides I think that percentage is low…

I don’t get what is up with the e-moto community. Every group ride I’ve been to and a majority I’ve just seen online footage of seem to a have a crash. Whether riding over their ability or not paying attention it seems to happen way too often. Haven’t seen it in my moto or bicycle rides but every e-moto ride.

Awesome footage of the group ride brother. Historic sight seeing. Ice cream is always a nice treat. JB always has the best routes. Hobra is the place to be. When I first saw you riding this i was about to ask you if ya picked up another bike and wtf you gonna do with all of them...lol Then i saw the mirrors ....How is the vision by putting them right there ? I am thinking of doing the same thing but its a whole lot of moving shit just to put them there and then i cant see shit . So how is the vision ? If you say it is hard to see i will believe you , and not move mine. I have another idea in the works but i have to find mirror arms like i really want and I cannot seem to find them , so i might have to have them made . Well another good watch bro . Ride safe !

I think the look good but you will always find me looking my shoulder… if you want function then you’ll need longer arms to extend the mirrors above your Arm and shoulder… thanks for commenting and ride safe… 🙌💯💪

These are 3x the weight of stock bike tires, how does that affect range? And surely there's a machine that can do this? Those spokes will need to be upgraded too?

Thicker spoke is always a plus… heavier tire will slow you down a lil… top speed if it was 50 mph with these you may make 46-47 as whelk as you battery may deplete a bit faster… But if your upgrading everything you’re not really gonna feel a huge difference… in the end you will be quite happy with the performance

Can you explain how a stock onyx (3kw) and an upgraded 5kw rx are both doing around 55mph? You would think the 5kw would do more but seeing your videos with V’s rx, Santito’s rx, and now this rx, you guys are doing under 60 mph with 2kw more than the stock onyx

5KW would give you efficiency not necessarily more speed… Speed will depend on controller and tune… The reason they aren’t hitting 70 is mainly because they don’t want to… they would need to beef up the front fork frame and swing arm for stability

Good video. E-Unit duder is totally right. Going fast is easy, doesn't mean a bike that is made to go that fast is safe at those speeds. Also don't be an idiot and learn/understand how to ride with etiquette. I've been commuting/touring on DIY 2000W ebikes for over a decade and also a 3000W hyperscoot that does 55-60.

Everyone says “ get a motorcycle “ but miss the point that e-bikes are for ripping through town with ease - OBVIOUSLY a motorcycle is the smarter choice for greater distances ( preferably a touring bike ) I’m not gonna try & ride my e-bike from LA to SF , it just doesn’t make sense but I’ll totally rip it from Downtown LA to Santa Monica n everything in between without a problem
