Your friend is hilarious! You should add in more comedy. Subscribing in case you do more lighthearted, funny videos like this.

thanks that's a good idea, light-hearted playfulness on its way (if the inspiration arises)

I sit way too much programming for work and have for decades. Your hip work videos have helped me tremendously, but after watching this I realize my flexibility is more limited than I thought. Thanks so much for sharing! I will squat walk, even if my knee cap pops out. 😂 * Do you have a Patreon? I don't see a way to send a Super Thanks.

Oh thanks, I'm thinking of doing a specific video for hip mobility and flexibility. You might find it useful! I'll also make a short video for the knees as well. Thanks I'll set up a Patreon. curious, what kind of programming do you do? btw I have 2 channels- this one and "Qi Flow with Colm" specifically for Qigong routines if you're interested. I appreciate your comment, take care :)

Thank you for sharing. I've been working on hip stability and it's important to realize that our hips should rotate. I've been focusing on that, so great timing.

Hi Colm, I tried this along with you. It’s my first time seeing something like this. How is this pathway related to the small intestine and what is a meridian? I don’t know much about this.
@mindfulmomentswithColm11 ай бұрын
OH wow i'm glad you tried it, the chinese healing system has 12 meridians (channels) on the outside of the body, where energy (qi) flows. There are also 8 internal meridians called extraordinary meridians. Although there is no proof to their existence, it can felt quite clearly when massaging points along the channel (acupressure points). Acupressure is like acupuncture only without needles, and you can do it yourself. The Yin meridians of the arm are the Lung, Heart, and Pericardium. The Yang meridians of the arm are the Large Intestine, Small Intestine, and Triple Burner. The Yin Meridians of the leg are the Spleen, Kidney, and Liver. The Yang meridians of the leg are Stomach, Bladder, and Gall Bladder. So energy connects from meridians to the organs allowing us to support the system (like rivers going to the sea). Practising qi gong also supports the flow of energy through the meridians that helps us feel whole

@@mindfulmomentswithColm Thank you! I saw one video on a point of the foot (on the outside of the pinky toe tendon, about halfway between the toe and the ankle) and he was saying that it was related to the gallbladder. I noticed mine was tender only on one side and I tried massaging it (acupressure is like massage right?) however it has not changed. Would I be correct in assuming that there is a meridian all the way up the leg for the gallbladder?
