I’m wondering about forms vs an email button on my landing page for an animation service business , email buttons give me no conversion tracking at all is that right? But I’ve been advised to always have an email button is that good advice? Thinking only a form would allow proper offline conversion tracking without loosing half of the data to emails?

@@tompainter7167 if someone fills out a form you’ll be emailed the form info. If you have a button that someone presses on the page and it opens up an email for them to send to you, you are going to have inaccurate tracking because Google is only going to count that button click as ‘a conversion’ irregardless if they send you an email or not

@@Pinacolada81828 great question, for this campaign no we do not. We only do that if the ad groups are wildly different topics where we need a specific headline on landing page. I know some guys who do but in my opinion it’s overkill.

Do you only send the “hot” leads to client or do they get all lead info because as soon as someone clicks learn more, the client is paying for the lead, so whether they “go through the hoops” or not, the client is paying for the lead…. They should get all lead info not just the ones that go through the hoops…
