huh I don't think this video is in every virginia county. they mostly just warned "girls" "not to talk to" "older boys" consent is a continous process of checking in and revokable and it's more than "no means no" it's a continous process of listening consent isn't just for romantic or sexual, also for like "hey can I highfive you?" "i'd prefer not." "understood."

This is just a visual representation of what consent looks like it. I think it would've been more helpful to also include scenarios of what consent doesn't look like. Like, when someone grants permission but does so while being coerced, pressured, under duress, with hesitation, while they're incapacitated, or if they say nothing at all even though you asked.

Who ducking asks for a kiss.. you fucking lean in and if they wanna kiss you, they kiss you, if they don’t wanna kiss you, they slap you. Easy and simple. Asking makes it damn awkward.

Not everyone is going to slap you to imply they mean "no". Wtf. The point is to make sure you always have consent. Sometimes, it doesn't have to be explicitly stated. If you initiate a kiss and the other person responds positively and reciprocates, that's a clear indication of consent. But, if they seem hesitant or reluctant but go along with it anyways because they feel pressured or you're forcing it on them, that's not consent. It's always better to just ask if you're unsure. Who the hell cares if you're being awkward, you need to respect other people's boundaries and protect your own ass at the same time.
