When we hang it separately, we use a metal hook that you can purchase quite easily at Home Depot shops. No need for any hook when you are playing it by hand, as you must be free to twirl it while playing.

the first time I came to India (that time I was only in Auroville for a month) the first thing that, upon waking up in the early morning, my senses perceived were the sounds, beautiful, profound, touching (from the singing and the sounds of birds and other animals, to the voices and music that came from the temples) and then I thought that as a 'travel souvenir' from there, rather than photographs, I should have brought a recorder and recorded the sounds, because this was a truly joyful experience full of Love. Then I discovered Svaram, and it was a revelation of beauty and devotion and a lesson in concentration and precision in even material work. This experience continues with your videos, and I am very grateful to you for offering the possibilities to explore new sounds (or perhaps they are ancient sounds, which reside in some part of us?) and to collaborate for the Beauty and Truth of the experience of Auroville. Thank you, I love you.❤
