こんにちは Lisa! ありがと for another wonderful video! Please don't feel pressure to upload frequently. It's important that you enjoy the process of making the video. Your viewers will happily wait patiently for your thoughtful, calming and enjoyable content 😊 It was such a cute idea to snack on a real taiyaki as it is featured in the Tokyo Edition 🥰 ありがと for sharing your favourite spots in Tokyo! It's really great to get a locals perspective. I was so happy when you mentioned Kuramae! I absolutely adore that area!! I hope I can have the opportunity to go back there soon. Well I hope to come back to Japan in general soon 😄 I would like to explore Nihonbashi next time 👍 I'm so happy that you and your family got to go to Paris! Congratulations to your son for graduating and being accepted into university! A trip to Paris was a wonderful way to celebrate 🥳 I've never been to Paris, but it looks gorgeous 😍 ✨️ Your language learning journey is so inspiring Lisa. I hope you do a study abroad next year! It would be an incredible experience 😃

Hello again Danni, thanks again for your sweet words that always give me the power to work on and go forward. I've actually learned Spanish so hard to pass the Spanish exam called DELE B1, and finally, I took it yesterday. Not sure of the results, but now all the pressure and stress that I had is gone!! Now I'm ready to make some videos ahead :) Regarding the Traveler's Notebook Tokyo Edition, I couldn't resist getting them because of their design. Taiyaki is abslolutely one of the reasons that I got. Also thank you for mentioning some of the spots in Tokyo that I shared. Glad that you love Kuramae as well! So calm, so relaxed, but people tend not to add the places to go. Now you have so many places to explore next time you visit Japan. And thank you for your kind words to my son. We really had a great time there and it's really worth visiting, and I always feel like going back right off the bat. (But I do know not now because of the 2024 Olympics, and now Paris is a disaster in general lol) Anyway, thank you so much for your powerful messages to me. It encourages me to keep working on my learning languages. Thank you Danni, you're the best! Talk to you soon :)

Hi Lisa, congratulations on taking the DELE B1 test! No matter what the results are, be proud that you sat the test 😊 I'm sure you did amazing well 👍 Do you have to wait a long time to get the results? I totally agree about Kuramae feeling calm and relaxed. I really appreciate all the creative people that are there as well. Haha yes, I'm always adding places to my google maps! 😂 I can hardly see the map of Japan now because I have saved so many places 🤣 😅 Yes, that's the trouble when you travel to a great place. You always miss it as soon as you come back home! Hopefully the world calms down and everyone can travel without having to worry too much about those kinds of things. Aww thank you Lisa. I think you're the best!! 💖 Take care and talk to you soon 🤗

こんにちは Lisa! How are you? I hope you've been well and your health has improved 🤗 Sorry it's been so long since I left a comment 😔 So many things have happened in my life... Anyway, I was so happy to see this video and the next one which I'll watch after this. Your videos bring me so much joy and your voice is so calming 😌 How wonderful that your son loved the black cover you chose for him and often takes it with him 😊 You can now share your stationary passion with him 🥰 It's not weird that you feel like talking to people in the Travellers store. It's natural to want to chat and share things about your hobbies and interests. I would chat to you if I was there! I'm sure most people would find it to be a lovely experience having a coffee while chatting and sharing notebooks in the Meguro store. I hope your wish comes true soon! ✨️ I love the idea of creating a nice atmosphere with special tea and essential oils while journaling 💖 ありがと for translating the editors note! It was really thoughtful of you 🥺 I hope they go ahead with the idea of having a store off the beaten track. It would be such a fun adventure to go there 😁

Hi Danni, it's been a while! I'm good, and how have you been? I know life is sometimes so hard and complicated, and I'm so sorry to hear you had to go through these phases (sorry it's not sure though) but hope things are getting much better now. As always thank you so much for watching the videos! Remember you don't have to say sorry just because you couldn't check my videos. I'm just so happy that you are well. So actually, I have given another Traveler's Gift to my son! Guess what!? Now he is truly one of the TF users, which I've never thought of. Yes, I'd love to chat with you about lots of kinds of stuff not only stationery goods but your preference in general, like foods, places, things to do. Just having a small talk is really exciting! One day somewhere in a cafe, we bring our journals and stationery stuff, and then we'll make it happen over a cup of coffee. Sounds perfect! Thank you so much Danni for your continuous support and I always appreciated it. See you soon :)

Hi, regardless of whether you check in or not, you can get there unless you declare the custom. If you check in first, and then you can enjoy the TFA without your suitcase, or belongings. Even if you don’t check in, you can also get there, because both TFA and check-in counters are located at the 4th floor (terminal 1) where everyone can get there without a passport. Hope it helps!

Happy new year Lisa🎉 lovely to see another video from you, I find your English very cute and love the soothing relaxing sound of your voice. Thankyou for the tour, I would love to come to Japan one day but not sure if and when that would happen so your videos are a lovely virtual visit for me. It was nice for me to hear you say you talk to yourself - in the UK, this has been seen negatively in the past as a ‘mad person’ but I feel we can make a lot of sense of something if we just spend time thinking and having a conversation with ourselves. So appreciated hearing you say this. I want to have more conversation with myself in 2024 😊. It was so sweet to hear you say you enjoyed seeing other visitors to the store and wanted to speak with them. I’m sure if you did they would love to speak with you too. I too like speaking to new people when I am out and when it is a shared interests that conversation stays with me for a long time. I would like to encourage you to have that conversation next time you are out - I am going to try more things outside my comfort-zone in 2024 - would you like to try with me? Look forward to hearing more about this in a future video of yours. 😉 Congratulations on your first year on KZbin and wish you a very successful 2024. There is always so much pressure to do more videos to be more successful but I like that you are making videos at a pace that suits you and for me it is a nice awaited surprise when you release a new video. If you ever decide you want a London penpal I would very much like to be on your list😊 wish you good health and a fun exciting 2024, Varsha 🥰

Happy new year, Varsha!! Thank you so much for your sweet comments, and sorry for the late reply. It was really nice to know that you enjoyed the video and could imagine the future travel to Japan! I didn't know that having a conversation with ourselves was considered to be a negative stuff in your country, but I think it's ok because we all think differently! Speaking of trying more things outside of my comfort-zone, I actually spoke to the couples who came from Spain in Spanish the other day, not at the Traveler's Factory, but at a cafe near the famous fountain pen store. That was really nice to me because I've been learning Spanish, and also I wanted some friends from Spanish speaking countries. We exchanged our e-mail, and I thought "what a great opportunity that I had!" So, of course I am so happy to have a London penpal and exchange our opinion, share our thoughts, sounds exciting! Making new friends is always a pleasure🥰 It's up in the air at this moment, but I'm considering staying in Barcerona, Spain, and then traveling to a few more cities in Europe. (like London and Paris, plus places like a country side) It would be nice to have a cup of tea with you if it really happens. Anyway, thank you again for your sweet comments, and your patience that make you waited for another video. You are really nice and so sweet🫶 Wish you all the best for 2024 🐉✨

Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping by. I found some mistakes that could make you confused in the video, so let me crrect the following: No. 1. 10:00 it should be "We REOPENED Narita Airport in 2023." Sorry my voice was muffled and the pronunciation was not clear. No.2 9:25 "No available English edition yet," but I found the English version has already come out at TF Tokyo Station when I visited there in Jan. 1st. Sorry about that. If you have any questions or doubts, just let me know in the comment. Thanks!

Hi! Thank you for watching and sorry for making you confused. What I wanted to mention was, "(We REOPENED, not opened) Narit Airport in 2023." That was totally my mistakes, and I'll fix it in the commet later. Actually, I went to the TF Station yesterday (Jan. 1st, 2024) and found the TRAVELER'S TIMES #18 English version, which I didn't know when I was making the video, but I'm gonna add that info as well. Again, thank you for letting me know there were someting that you couldn't get, because other viewers also couldn't get that due to my pronunciation! @explore_further_
@explore_further_ 9 ай бұрын
Hi! Thank you for watching. As for the transportation that I recommend, I would say either by limousine or by train depending on the preference, time or money. However, there are a few things that you should keep in mind. No.1 Only one limo comes every hour according to the website. It costs jpy3,100/adult, and it takes approximately one hour from Haneda. No.2 In case of taking the train, only one train comes every 40 min. And it costs jpy1,800/adult, and it takes approx. one hour and forty minutes. (No need to transfer) Actually I’ve never traveled from Haneda to Narita, and since I live in Chiba, not in Tokyo, I usually go to Narita Airport by train or car, it takes less than an hour or so. I don’t think it’s hard to navigate, but if you don’t have enough time or your schedule is tight on that day, I would say it’s hard. It depends on your schedule. Hope it helps!

Thank you so much for this video Lisa, really loved the music and your commentary. I already have my 2024 books and covers but fighting with myself not to get the natural leather One Piece, I remember watching the series with a friend of mine when I was house-sharing so this takes me back to those days. I need to watch the series again - it will drive his wife crazy (she does not like anything animated) but I might be able to get his son to join us when I visit them in The Netherlands - how cool it would be to be able to journal in the One Piece book - nooo I’m supposed to be taking myself out of spending more, not getting excited about buying another cover!! Your video is the best I’ve seen at picking up the colours and shimmer of my Laurent Garigue too. It’s my personal journal cover for 2024 and it’s perfect for motivating me to do more for myself. Hi Varsha! Thank you so much for watching other videos! Regarding ONE PIECE techo, I couldn’t agree with you more!! Like you mentioned, how cool to use ONE PIECE book or cover and exciting it is to open up with going merry charm on the front, and see the nautical chart of the interior, which I really love. Sorry I’m not familiar with ONE PIECE story, because I haven’t have a chance to watch or read their mangas when I was a child, but having said that, it is really fascinating to me. So no wonder someone like you who used to watch the series during the childhood are so excited about it! Actually I went to TOBICHI yesterday again and check all the ONE PIECE lineups, making me realized I might need the black cover!! I think I could resist because I have already got all the cover I needed for 2024, but no one knows😂 And you picked Laurent Garigue! Really nice❤️ Hopefully you enjoy watching the series with both her and her son in some ways. Thank you Varsha for your kind words as always, and hope you have a happy Sunday☀️

Your Spanish is so smooth!! I started learning a bit of Spanish, but I put it on the back burner for now to focus on learning Japanese since I'm going there later this year! I bought 3 weeks techos for the first time to use next year. One of them is going to be a language planner/journal for me too! Thank you for sharing ^^

Hi! Thank you for your kind words and it’s great to know that you’re going to visit Japan, and you’re learning Japanese, which is one of the most difficult and intimidating languages in the world😂 I am a native Japanese speaker, but I guess learning Spanish is much easier compared to learning Japanese, so I really admire you! A weeks techo is a way lightweight and easy to carry around, so let us have fun to utilize them🫶 Oh, by the way, your name is quite intriguing me. 火曜日の🐻It’s so cute!

@@explore_further_ I have gone to Japan in the past but for way too short of a time! This time I'm staying for about 3 weeks and first time experiencing winter in Japan too ☺ I'm lucky I know some kanji already from learning Chinese, but even if I can guess the meaning, I still mix up the way to say it.. Onyomi and Kunyomi always trip me up haha! Thank you 💕I'm glad you enjoy my name - I thought it would be a bit fun to play around with the sounds of the words and I love bears! 😍 I have already broken into my weeks techos because I couldn't wait another few months to start 😂

Hi! Sorry for the late reply. A few months until you visit Japan! Sounds exciting, and I'm excited too. It depends on where you are staying, but hope you have a wonderful winter season and also enjoy speaking Japanese at a street, a restaurant, wherever you are, we'll give you a warm welcome anytime!🫶 If you have any questions on Japanere or anything you'd like to ask me, anytime!

Hi, Varsha! Thank you for another sweet words on my video. I’ve never thought that someone gave me a positive feedback on my voice and accent, but I’m so flattered honestly. Thank you so much! Of course I love Hobonichi stuff, but at the same time I love Traveler’s Factory, which is one of the reasons that I kicked off this channel. So glad to know that you enjoyed it. By the way, London is one of the cities that I want to visit in near future, so I’m so excited to get a message from there🇬🇧💫Thank you again for your kindness, and hope you have a wonderful day and week ahead of you! Lisa from Japan🫶

@@explore_further_ Hi Lisa, I also love both Hobonichi and TN - great that we can enjoy the best of both. I have a greater desire to visit Japan thanks to discovering great Japanese’s analogue tools. If you do decide to come to London, please do message me, I would love to meet you in person. Looking forward to more of your videos in the mean time. 🎉

🎂Happy belated birthday 🎉 Lisa 🥂 I hope you had a very special day and wishing you a whole month of celebrating. I just found your video and I am so pleased I did. You seem like a very sweet person and I really appreciated your honesty and genuine personality showing through. I have a tweed cover on the way which also will not fit in a cover on cover, at first I thought I might use a linen cloth underneath, on the table so I don’t get it dirty but I think I will spray it with fabric protector spray (the type you would use on fabric shoes and handbags) to protect it. So long as you top-up the spray every few months it will keep the cover protected without the cover on cover - if you prefer to feel the fabric. Thank you again for sharing your order. Looking forward seeing more of your videos 🎉

Hi! Sorry for the late reply, but thank you so much for your sweet words on my birtheday and wonderful tips on how to prevent the cover like the one we both have from getting dirty! Actually, one of the viewers told me that she was used a dryer to expand the cover-on-cover so that it got a bit bigger to fit, but you have another great idea to protect it. Who can come up with using a fabric protector spray for the techo cover? Wow! I didn't even know there were some solutions out there. Much appreciated it✨ Remember your message absolutely makes my day, and it couldn't be happier to get to know such a beautiful person like you here. Again, thank you so much for your a thoughtful and knowledgeable comment! Have a happy Hobonichi day😊🫶

Hi Lisa! Happy Birthday for earlier in the month! 🎉 🎂 How fantastic to be able to celebrate with buying Hobonichi items 😄 ありがと for the great video! It was fun to see what you got, and I'm of course excited to see part 2 🫶 I loved all the choices you made 😍 You've really inspired me with the museum techo. Visiting museums and art galleries is one of my favourite things to do 😊 Take care and have a wonderful day Lisa! 🤗🦋
