I once got hit head-on by an SUV while riding a Stairmaster. I got a compound fracture, the bike lost a reflector off of one of the pedals

Awesome video! I'm from Fort Wayne, and we would ride up Fairfield from Harrison Hill area. We were 14 in 95, and I remember being enthralled somewhat intimidated, but entranced by the Fat House. We'd just ride to downtown and pass by at a distance to see what was up. The ravine was quite a distance for us, and so a friend's dad clued us in to the area by Foster Park, behind some industrial building, where he rode as a kid. At some point, some older kids, maybe even you guys, showed up and turned it from a loop tracked with one nice jump, into a maze of routes. We kinda kept our distance in awe. Funny to see these videos 30 years later! Congrats on enjoying BMX all this time!

This video just wreaks of fun. I do think there's some actual evidence that's slowly raising its head to show bmx 20yrs+ ago was better overall. People appear to be attached to the belief bmx must "progress", and yet it's come at a cost. Endless "rider owned" companies that are faceless with no to little information about their brand, just some ethos about "true bmx", and how i should support them, but i see nothing back from them. Riding styles has now become incredibly linear and less diverse in the name of progression. Looking at some bmxs i've seen being ridden, are these a scooter with pedals? I could bang on about this in depth, but who really cares? (nobody, FBM died as a (part) consequence). This comes from a guy who runs all the brakes, pegs, etc, and enjoys watching some new school riders kill it. Crandall, one of the best dudes in bmx and his interviews are incredibly entertaining and heart warming.
