I’m no hockey analyst, but I really believe in Levshunov pick. I know the general consensus is that picking him at 2 was not right, but I think he will be franchise guy. He has a swagger and a confidence about him that gives me a lot of faith.

I think right now McQueen. But misa just has to produce at that elite level and show me he can take the next step. Not that my opinion matters but that’s what I think it takes for him to be the better prospect. McQueen has shown improvements every year misa hasnt

This season? Not sure if there's much to be honest. Hynninen and Nieminen are my biased picks for re-entries. Jere Somervuori is fun but not sure he's more than a longshot. I've liked Jasu Mesonen as well, but it's slim picking this year in my opinion at this point.

Don't sleep on Kudryavsev. For such a late pick he is a great player to swing on. He's a very smart fluid defender. Looking phenomenal out of prospect camp. Made a lot of phenomenal tears and his anticipation defensively was spectacular for his age. Good skater too.

Springfield may or may not see some coming next season as their contract with St,Louis may renew or reject then I’d say they’ll have a ECHL team in the future possibly. After Zherenko got injured last season his performance was shaky hopefully he regains his confidence this upcoming season.

I'm familiar with Will's work so let me interpret for you guys since the terminology is causing problems. He's actually bullish on the Blues pool and like's the upside of several guys. The Blues don't have any superstar 1st overall archetypes that would make up his elite tier and the Blues are far from the only team that doesn't have one of those by Will's standards. Will's 2nd tier is sure fire 1st line players that are guaranteed producers, also a lofty tier and thus not one where Will is going to hand out participation points just because. Again plenty of teams have 0-1 of this tier in Will's eye's so it's simply understanding his tiers. The Blues are loaded with players in that 3rd tier which he describes as guys with potential to play lines 2-4 hence why everyone was clustered up there like a missing group of colonists on LV 426. He acknowledges that the Blues have players that could enter that 2nd tier with further development so it's not like he's downplaying their pool. It's just that they lack those elite tier guys which fortunately doesn't mean much when your No1 center is 25 and your No1 RW is 26. They aren't in immediate need of guaranteed 1st line forwards and have several players that could end up that caliber of NHLer or instead fill out lines 2-4. Will I'm glad to see you're coming around on Lindstein after his U20's , he's currently the Blues No3 imo. He's been the No1 or No2 LD from that '23 group going back to his D-1 and I think a lot of people are noticing him more now.

Juraj as of now was 100% the first overall pick that year, Cooley is nice but the offensive upside for Slaf is just as good while being an absolute monster off the puck. Shane Wright has a great chance in my opinion to still be a great Two Way Second Line C… Seattle got a good one at 4. Cooley may get more points some season’s than Juraj will, But Juraj will ultimately be the better player all around at least in my opinion from what I have seen from Cooley and Juraj last season.

Levshunov will be a very good defenceman. His development has been on an accelerated rate. He's only been in North America two years and has gone up a level each year. He's a very hard worker and takes coaching well. I think you are way underestimating his potential.

I would slide Dvorsky into 'Core'. Just for now. This is crystal ball shit. I'll extend the crystal ball to Bolduc as well. If the point is how likely/unlikely these guys are to be traded, the return on these two would be more than others. Snuggy Bear chose to go back to college, which I have no problems with, but that does impact his value in terms of trade bait. He does have a sick release and I do want it in STL.
