If you think about it, it fits perfectly given it's replacing the Doom 3 rocket launcher (designs are pretty similar), and it's more feasible for a Marine to carry

i can tell you'v played a lot of doom 3 becasue when you use the shotgun you instinctively run up to the demons and put it up their nose to make sure that death trap actually hits something..

I remember seeing this on X and thinking it was beautiful. The idea of a Master Chief boss fight is somewhat intimidating, but it’s cool that the concept is being explored.

You change the OLD Stroggified Elite for this? I prefer the old one, because its look like really a storggifield creation, also I like the idea that has a chainsaw in the hand. Make him more unique.

Is there an opinion that Doom 3 is a masterpiece? Then John Carmack - chief programmer, not even a game designer leaves the company and id software can't make something mature and serious anymore. This looks so cool! I love Halo and Doom 3 :) Would you wanna convert more weapons into the Halo style? I'm just thinking the Plasma Gun is a lot like Halo's Plasma Rifle, and the Chainsaw could be Halo's Energy Sword! (as like a flurry of sword swings)

Plasma gun could also be reskinned to the storm rifle to make things easier! I think Buddy chose the SAW just for an easy reason to keep the gun's info screen.

So, since there is a mod that brings Halo guns to Doom 3 I assume that modders can now make Doom 3 play like Doom 2016 or Eternal? Or at least bring those weapons to Doom 3. That would be very interesting mod to play with.

Original Crysis truly is a charm in my eyes. While it's not game as impactful as Half Life or CoD4, it is still just such a solid single player experience. Soundtrack, gunplay, relative freedom, length, great escalation of story. Just 10/10 B game with 10/10 graphics.

I know the Halo 5 Rocket launcher looked familiar, Is almost like an alternate version of the Doom 3 Rocket launcher. Honestly this would be more accurate if there where Halo 2 weapons, mostly because they are very much from the same year of release. Master Chief at this point must be like "Fu#$ing demons on Mars? Well, at least they aren't the Flood."

mod takes place in 2553, a few months after the war ends. The pilum wasn't really made until 2558, but I went with the idea of it being a prototype, since guns are tested for decades before being fully released. (like the br55)

I really should have been specific with the comment, when I meant "at the same time" I didn't meant the games in universe timeline, I meant the games Halo 2 and Doom 3 were released in 2004, so the look and weapons of Halo 2 would fit nicely in this mod. Once again thanks for the correction and whooopsy daisy.
