A great video! Thanks for showing your "Determination" and willingness to try to do the Allegheny 100! I want to do the A100 some year and would most likely try the 25 mile first.

My parents took the boat ride when they were there, and said that even with the rain coat? They were totally soaked when they were done!😖🤣😆

I was there circa 1960 when they had all of the tunnels open to the public. I believe several of them are closed these days. I recall getting soaked to the bone despite heavy raincoats and black rubber boots they issued.

First visit was in the summer of 1969 while the US falls were turned off. Passageway to see the third view port was open, but not all the way as some cracks had appeared. The funicular to the boats was not there, as it was closed at last visit. We had to wear heavy black rubber rain coats and boots in 1969, and there were two change rooms to put on the rubber attire. No one got wet like they do with the cheap blue plastic ponchos.

Just like when I’m up very high and able to look/lean against the top floor windows, such as during dinning at the “rainbow room” or “windows on the world” at the lost World Trade Center” towers, whenever I’d visit NF or The Grand Canyon NP, I’d always get the peculiar feeling of wanting to jump… I’ve heard that this is a common sensation that many experience?

To think of the energy than can be generated, but we use very little (about a 1/3) so we spend billions on solar and wind turbines. Criminal.

The fact that only a small portion of the falls that is seen now is minuscule to its original power. Can you imagine being amongst the first to see it at full capacity? Nature is amazing.❤

I remember very well standing by the fence at the edge of the Horseshoe Falls - the spray was so powerful that it actually whipped the contact lens out of my left eye and ripped it nearly in half.

I was here in November 2012, on the Canadian side and loved it! Viewed the Horseshoe falls from the top, the viewing platform near the base where everyone wears the yellow coveralls, and took a couple of pictures of one of the tunnels. Awesome times! :)

This is a great video. Shows all the interesting outlooks of the Falls, short and sweet and to the point. My grandparents vacationed there for their honeymoon in the 1920's. There weren't the big resorts of today. Just nature and you. There is the Marilyn Monroe movie that was filmed there. It was a very good movie thriller that really never got much attention. Can't remember the name, probably Niagra. IMDB it and rent it.
