I lived close to this family years ago, I didn't know them, but knew of them. I read the book " some party in heaven " about 15yrs ago, which as a mother myself was heartbroken at their unimaginable loss. Now I have just heard last week they lost their son Matthew I just cant imagine the pain the whole family are going through. Absolutely Heartbreaking. This family has suffered so much.

There is more evidence to justify a connection to the widespread idolatry in modern society rather than certain other topics which the wider church has voiced it's concerns over recently. Given that 'people have no time for the things of God' and prioritise other areas of their lives and 'busy' themselves with other things. Such as Sports, Concerts, Going Out, Holidays etc. Obviously it's different circumstances but the Jewish people were sent into Babylonian exile due to their disobedience towards God. And they also had to adapt their worship due to the destruction of the temple, like most churches will have to adapt during the virus shutdown.
