Honestly idk why but seeing Karl’s experience also puts me in shoes in some way. I guess his response to some of the stressing experiences just sorta makes me understand how he feels. Whereas when he does experience joy though however it does spark also some positive feeling to me too. Especially to the underrated experiences or connections with some of the people. Like the monks in China when throwing the darts, the non tourists part of the Great Wall, the tiny tornado by the pyramids of Giza, the Gupta in the river, also the fireworks in Mexico as well as giving snacks to a family in a shack. It’s pretty unique having this guy in experience it all as he’s not your usual traveler, shame we probably won’t ever have anything like this ever again.

I love the sounds of LOSCIL. First bought First Narrows. The music is very evocative for me as a poet. I hear them as sound paintings. The reverberation of gongs across gneiss; if weather thermometers were to make music this could be it. :::enormous bioluminescent jellyfish landing in Arizona's Grand Canyon,

Not sure if anyone down the front could see, but half way through Hold on to your genre, Tim made his way to the bar and got a pint, which he promptly threw over me - and this was BEFORE he hung upside down.

how can anyone stand there so casually as the bass they are playing is literally warping peoples ribs and re arranging the weather. Drums that shake the floor and Albini strumming tones that make you feel like snarling. What a song straight from the heart of a fucjing legend and a legendary band. So gutted that I won't ever see the man on stage alive in front of me. A massive loss.

luckily for the first 3 songs i was standing just under the stage, on a side of a speaker... otherwise i doubt the recording would have been audible

In retrospect, I have one major complaint. Tim should have kept the pope hat while getting down to his tighty whities. Because that would have been the right thing to do.
