So I just gotta say, horse steak, it's amazing! BUT... I had it in Costa Rica where they aren't used like we do for "domestic" farm animals. That was super lean like a waygu or veal cut. Wonderful flavor! So in theory how's the animal been bred and processed like with anything as your well aware of

Oh Honey, my momma's meatloaf was delicious. No matter how hard I try I can't put her special love into it. The fat is what gives it that juicy yum yum flavor. Love this video. Use inexpensive beef and pork. The grease cooks off and leaves the loaf so tender and good. I can go on and on. 😂

No, its not all butter. Its a bunch of other ingredients mixed with butter, so probably like 25% - 50% butter.

I have used a few different brands. I will say that I agree and disagree about all of them tasting the same. Overall, yes. It's just a smoky taste and if you are cooking over 250-275, unless it's in there for several hours. You are not putting that much smoke flavor on anything. Traeger pellets never seemed to put much flavor at all and were very ashy. Bear Mountain, Knotty Wood and Cookin Pellets were always solid and 100% of whatever wood the bag said. Always had good quality pellets, not too ashy and good smoke flavor. Smokin' Pecan, Pecan shell pellets are always very good and that is one that you can definitely taste the difference.

I find it incredibly unappealing to hear steak described as feeling like jello. Jello consistency meat makes me think of spam or balogne, not a good steak.

Prime cuts are low quality in comparison to these steaks. Prime steaks have a marbling max score of 5, australian wagyu is 8-9 and Japanese A5 is 10-12.
