True from season 8, his age started to show he also is loosing his hair line

Alex carried that whole show he put his whole heart soul and body into that show and it nearly destroyed him. His slowing down is very clear bc of the years of injuries his body went through doing the show. The grey hair he had for a very long time they just touched it up but when he did the buzz cut there was no touching it up. You see the struggle in season 8 the way he walks in some scenes that is from a serious back injury he got doing a stunt in season one that never went away this man for 8 years he finally got a new experimental treatment in season 8 which was going to be his last season but the treatment worked it gave him two more years. In the end he chose his family and his own health over a TV show his decision wasn’t because he was sick of the character or bored his decision was made so this he could be able to play with his kids and pick his grandchildren up one day and to not end up in a wheelchair. Unfortunately even though he was able to finally heal his back. All of this injuries and even his doctor said are you joking. Will eventually catch up to him later on. To see him finally getting his black belt in BJJ in 2023 is something you should watch he was so emotional because it took him so long because of the show and injuries but he did it. He is truly an amazing man with a heart of gold. It’s a shame the other two threw him under the bus.
