If you are using water-based paint, you can clean it directly with water. For oil-based paint, please use the appropriate solvent or thinner that is compatible with the paint.

I just bought this gun and am getting ready to use it for the first time. In the video, you backed the bottom adjustment knob wide open. Is that where you left it for painting? Also, the same with the top adjustment knob. I believe that one was fully closed? Is that where it stays during painting? Much thanks and I Zambia eager to use your product.

The instruction manual provides details on these three knobs. You should adjust them based on the desired effect and the specifications of your air compressor.

I grabbed this gun and have shot 2 whole cars with it. Used the 1.7 tip for primer, 1.5 for metallic base and 1.3 for clear. I'm going to try the 1.3 tip for base on my next car. Overall, no problems, and I have a 60 gal compressor - worked out perfectly.

The hose DOES NOT need to be removed to take the filter out! It comes out the same way on Graco and Titan spray guns

@@trentcarbino921 Acetone should be used for diluting paint. Our recommended method in the manual is to use a neutral cleaning solution with a pH of 6-8. If you are using water-based paint, you can also clean it with water.

I bought one on recommendation from paint society made it through 1 job and its broken already the fluid needle is 2 pieces the threads stripped leaving needle in 2 pieces leaving it stuck in the gun when it breaks you have no trigger control gun won't spray if you are painting you have to switch to a nother gun very poor design on 2 piece needle all my other guns are 1 piece needles never had a problem like this with them I guess I will see how there customer service is .

Some people are online or showing to use a big 5 gallon bucket strainer. Is that required if you mix it up really good? It seems like I'm gonna waste a lot of paint and make a mess doing it so I don't want to if it's not something that's really needed. I'm Painting the exterior so it doesn't have to be the most beautiful or anything. Also do I need to back it? I see some people saying it helps with adhesion and so it doesn't peel. Paneling is textured but it's 25 years old and been painted multiple times in the past I don't know if that matters. I was thinking a 517 tip because I wanna spray it on pretty thick. Is it true that 17 is the biggest this sprayer will use? I just bought it I have no knowledge at all other than watching your videos and ones people have made about it. 🫣😬

Should have came up with a better name honestly and price since this is the exact same paint gun as the new R500 that cost $50, only difference is y’all changed the color and name on it and packaging. Tip never use anything to seal the threads it could get into the paint gun and ruining your finish

Had 1 of these guns they are built well. However lvlp doesnt make sense to me as i had issues with basecoat . Seemed like it was uneven when spraying so had to go back to the king of guns my DV1

How do you Adjust the Spray nozzle if you don't like the way the paint is coming out.

Hi, thank you for your question. With the same nozzle, you can only find the optimal spray effect by adjusting the pressure value, not by adjusting the nozzle itself. Adjusting the nozzle seat will only change the spray direction. The spraying effect also depends on the type of paint, so if you are sure about the paint type, you can also switch to a different size spray tips to achieve the best effect with the same paint.
