haha. I think the rickenbacker is far more interesting than my covers, lolz. This bass was made in 1990. I picked it up around 1995, and it ended up sitting around in storage for about 20 years (somewhat tragic, I know). I dragged it out, had it professionally set up and started playing it again. By far my favorite bass. Some people don't like them, but if you are a pick player, I think they are fantastic.

this is done in standard tuning. I think the recorded version is tuned "slightly sharp" though. And, I've seen it played higher on the neck...

Hey, thanks. This is standard tuning. It is a bit of a weird one because I think the original bass line was done in an "out of tune" mode of some sort. At least that is what I heard somewhere. I also see it played in other areas of the neck, usually higher. But, this is how I am hearing it... I'm possibly a bit tone deaf though, so there is that :)
