Just brought the Glide pro bike surprisingly found the build quality is good, ride was comfortable and quite rigid for a foldie. The brake action was sharp despite semi hydraulic, wish it was a full hydraulic so less effort on the finger. Overall a good buy.

It is good to have an aluminum trifold version. Since it is already an aluminum frame, hope they could use the standard Dahon system for the entire front from the folk to the handlebar and also with the modern locking mechanism. There is no good reason to continue with the aging if not crude Brompton screwing system. Btw, the demo could be better to have the chain length set correctly, it was loose after folding. Also the two rear cables should not go through the hook but only for the front cable. The cable hooks are kind of crude too, time for the modern design as well.

Unfortunately we do not offer any hydraulic brakes for our Trifolds at this moment as there are too little variants in the market that is compatible with trifold. It may lead to aftersales issue as parts would be very difficult and expensive to get.

what if the tire isn't receiving air
@THEBIKEATRIUM6 ай бұрын
There can be many reasons: 1) Check if the pump connectors are well connected to your valve head. Sometimes when it's not inserted correctly, you will not be able to pump any air to your tube. 2) Check if your tube has leaks; when you pump, try to observe and hear if there's any leakage from your tyres.

Look at the tensioner, it’s setup wrongly !! 😂😂😂😂, your bike mechanic or installers doesn’t know what he is doing. All your trifold tensioners are not setup properly!! Look at the other trifold bikes video you posted!! 😂😂😂

Hi, we have replied you on another of our Trifold M9 video, I quote: "Hi, we are happy to take pointers to help us improve further. If you're referring to the tensioner at the chainring, the default position is always at 3 o'clock direction when unfolded, this position allows you to fold at any gear for the bike, if the tensioner at the chainring goes way beyond that position pointing downwards, you will be restricted to fold at higher gears with smaller cogs because at lower gear with bigger cogs, the chain tension will be too high, resulting the bike being unable to fold due to chain's limited length to withstand that extreme tension due to the tensioner's angle. Till today, we are happy that at this default position, nobody had any issue folding their bikes at any gear they want, and there are some who tilted it slightly lower at about 4-5 o'clock, that is totally fine as the angle is still within chain's length to fold at any gear, but it's really up to their preference because afterall at default angle, it will not give the user any problem :) Of course if you're not referring to the chainring tensioner, we are happy to take pointers from you. =) We are also happy that your friend bought their bikes from us and we are always happy to assist them anytime should they required any assistance, as we do provide lifetime general servicing for all Ethereal bicycles :)" We are always happy to take constructive feedbacks and improve our products further, these are necessary steps to keep customers happy and be at where we are today. Thank you again and we look forward to your pointers. 🙏

@@THEBIKEATRIUM Your chain is actually "loose" when fold, which defeats the purpose of having a tensioner, and will cause the chain to drop off . . The tensioner at the chainring has to be further down, probably 4pm or lower but that's actually minor. But the main problem is actually your tensioner at the RD. IIt's NOT suppose to pressdown on the chain when unfold but in a number of the videos, they are touching or pressing down on the chain, the angle is wrong. The chain should be "tight" or have "tension" when fold. Look at this kzbin.info/www/bejne/bImyhoKBprJ8fJY at 06:28 , the rear tensioner is pressing on the chain and you are not even using the largest gear yet.
@THEBIKEATRIUM10 ай бұрын
@@MyVideoHome2012 Thank you for the highlights! We like your constructive pointers like the above. Loose chain tension was what we discovered on that prototype piece shown in the video, and earlier batches of our other trifold models. The immediate solution was to extend the derailleur tensioner so it 'catches' the chain when folded at any gear. Unfortunately the spares wasn't here to allow us to change on our display unit. Hence the piece you saw on our video was still the very first prototype piece we had. All the latest batch of G20 and trifolds comes with extended tensioner to build more tension when folded at any gear. And thank you for the suggested solution, we had play around with the angle and regrettably, if we tilt the tensioner just right above the chain at highest gear (this ensures tensioner will not hit the chain at any gears), when folded at highest gear, the angle of the tensioner will be exceeded and points too low to the left to create tension and chain loses it's tension. We had put on bearings on the tensioner to reduce resistance just to keep the tension of the chain optimized when folded. However, we will not stop here, like we mentioned earlier, all feedbacks are invaluable to us, and we take it onto the table with our manufacturer to keep improving. While the current setup is the best balanced configuration without comprimising any of the feature, we will continue to seek alternative, better solution. Thank you once again for the constructive suggestion, we appreciate it. :)

This bike is definitely on my radar. Looking for something that folds like a brompton for it compactness and ease of rolling but rides like a birdy ie speed and comfort. I cycle mostly pavement and pcn and find the 20 inch x 1.5 tires the most comfortable against the hump and bumps. The sora gearset is cool. Would you guys be considering bringing a 1x10 gear set? Hope you guys have a rear rack that will fold down 4 wheels for flawless rolling. Also looking forward to see whar accessories are available :)

We have Tiagra 10 speed upgrade option available, or even Shimano 105 if you're keen to :) We have worked on our rack for some time and happy to inform you guys that it will be reaching our shore very soon! As it's not off the shelf design, we took the longer route of customizing the dimension and hence the slight delay. But our effort had paid off, it fits perfectly for our G20 and also compatible with mudguard! :D Cheers!
