Think you get nothing for what you spend on hobby boxes now 90% of the time and all you fools just keep buying them and the card company's just keep raising the prices look at the garbage cards they put ion boxes now they put more in the boxes when they where less expensive .

Practice gear cards are horrible and sticker autos suck but they have to do it sometimes due to athletes schedules and release dates of said cards, that Allen card looks different to

jacob cowing was a star receiver at arizona before he got drafted to SF this year. he ran top 10 in the 40 yard dash at the combine and set the record for the most consecutive college football games with a catch! i only know all this because im a niner fan who lives near the college he went to lol. he has struggled this year but has the potential to be better next year in the shanahan scheme

Topps is doing too many variations on the Topps and Topps Chrome. After spending $2,000 in November 2024 on Topps products, I have no idea if it will be worth anything in a year…you mentioned listing the cards right away. I normally like to hang on to Rookies for about 7 years and then Grade to Sell at that time. I stick to the top Prospects: Elly De La Cruz, Paul Skenes, Jackson Merrill, Jackson Chourio and Wyatt Langford. But with Topps printing so many sets, who knows which of the 60 sets people will want if any of the Players I am Buying today will be desirable in 7 years. 🤷♂️🤓⚾️

Yes it’s getting increasingly confusing for sure.. I feel like Bowman draft might be the best bet for long term value. After that it’s probably chrome.. but then people really like the sapphire cards as well. I guess at the end of the day as long as you hold the right players cards you will be fine. But predicting which sets hold up long term is definitely hard to decide

@@BrokeBoxBreakers- You are absolutely right on having to pick the right players. 2017 - Picked Judge (Superstar) and Bellinger (Bombed). 2018 - Picked Ohtani (Superstar), Acuna (Solid), Soto (Solid) and Devers (TBD). 2019-2021 Didn't buy MLB cards. 2022 - Picked Franco (Bombed), Rodriguez (TBD) and Witt (TBD). 2023 Picked - Rutschman (TBD), Henderson (TBD), Harris (TBD), Greene (TBD) and Brown (TBD). 2024 See above. During the Pandemic I was kicking myself for not buying Tatis...then he got suspended for PEDs. Wander Franco was truly painful. Great point, the Player is more important than the Set.🤓⚾️

Would love to see you and your friends do a $1,000 Challenge on Singles. Then re-evaluate after a year, after 3 years and 5-years. Super easy for NBA and kinda easy NFL. Talk about your thoughts on Buying Singles...Wembanyama is the first Player I have purchased in NBA since 2019-20 (Williamson, Morant, Barrett, Reddish, Claxton). Singles are super cheap in the Offseason, so you can really load up on any player you like. Card conditions are at there best in the same year they are printed (For future Grading). Wembanyama Chromium RCs are very cheap now for Prizm ($15-20), Donruss Optic ($6-10), Phoenix ($6-10), Select Hobby ($3-10) -- I don't buy Retail Blue, Mosaic ($6-10)...Prizms versions are much higher, but you have to get some Color. Spent $15,000 back in 2007/08 on Durant and it has carried my Sportscards Collection ever since. They made it to where you are gambling worse than a casino. It forces people to buy a case for $4800, which most collectors can not do, but that way, you at least have some better odds to get something.

Thanks for the video! That was a wild win last night for the Bengals. Rough contents for a $400 box. I understand Panini can't get autos of the top QBs, but game/player worn materials should be used from other players for more expensive boxes.
