Nice build Bruce! This is a re-issue of the old Revell kit. I just finished mine. Alot of parts cleanup but I'm pretty happy with the result. Looks like you had the same issue I did with that slight droop in the left jet engine. I'm currently working on their re-issue of the Monogram B-26 Invader. Makes me feel like a kid again!

I built this model 50 years ago when I severely broke my leg. I tied both running and standing rigging with sails and all the pulleys to the yards and halyards, Lifeboats, Cannons, and every other knot with a pair of tweezers in each hand. Worked on it 12 or more hours a day and it still took me two months. I also did the Cutty Sark. I still have them. I was a modeler since I was 10, and built every Revell kit my paper route money and allowance would afford. This kit was my Holy Grail and back in 1975 the USS Constitution cost $20. Nice work.

pretty nice for an amature builder, not much in rigging. no pullies anywhere on the ship. not a fully rigged ship. sorry, just looks like you didn't spend enough time on the build. when i finished my model of the same kit, i sold it for $400.

Hi Bruce. Glad to see you're going to you have identified the starship in your future. The Enterprise is a good one to start with. The Constitution is spectacular! The rigging and sails are amazing. She is a beauty!!! Here's a spaceship recommendation, cause it has "rigging," the Glencoe 1/30 Nuclear Powered Space Station. I had fun with that build, and the "rigging" is pretty simple, just a circle from the inner hub to the outer ring. The reality is it can be a bit tricky, but I'm sure you can handle it. I really like the 1950 designs. 😁

Awesome Bruce, mine is slowly coming along I am also building Revell English Man of War as well. I bounce back and forth between them when I get bored with one I switch to the other.
