for those with less time or patience--make a 5 row granny square. sew into triangle-leaving half open. turn and move seam to back-voila tree shape. fold up bottom and sew to make triangular base. add beads. crochet 2 rows of 5 stitches of dc for base/pot and attach. add loop at top.

I got it

For those who really don't know about crocheting like me, here's what I did, it's not perfect but it got the job done. For row one, after she made the magic circle she chained 3 then made 12 double stitches. She pulled the middle string tight to close up the circle. After the first row I stopped counting and just kept going until I got back to the start. You start row two with a 3 chain then do a double stitch in the space in-between the first double stitch from the last row. However, in the next space you crochet 2 double stitches and continue until you reach the end. For rows 3&4 you chain 3 then double stitch in the space below like before, then do 2 double stitches in the next space. For these rows you alternate between 1 double stitch and two double stitches in each hole. I did not get this since there are no words in the video and kept getting a basket shape. If you follow the directions I just gave you should be good to go.
