Bearded dragons can almost always find a way to die no matter what you do.

News flashes isn't just a lizard thing, this is an all land animal thing. Because even as a human being if a giant picked you up while you're drinking a glass of water, it would make you choke also.

Jesus that’s a small enclosure. I feel like she’s coming out because of how cramped it is. My ball python has a 4x2x2 and doesn’t choose to come out often because of how much space she has and how secure she feels. This is stupid. A happy ball python doesn’t want to be held; reptiles are solitary creatures. When I handle my python, it’s for my benefit, not hers. Pythons would be happiest if we left them alone most of the time. This is honestly disturbing if you keep a 5 foot snake in an enclosure this small.

There's a lot of small animals you shouldn't bathe. Like rodents.

I have a Super Enchi, DG clown adult female that’s so chill/ curious she will give ppl heart attacks. The second you open enclosure she comes flying out and likes to go to your chest and climb straight out 😂. If you don’t no better it seems like she’s coming to bite you in face . While most are slow & reserved , they are like ppl each have own personality. I Have some that stay stretched out in open & some that stay hid most of time. You have Big Beautiful mature snake . Thanks for sharing

I dropped my 1yr old banana pied one week after purchase and I was really mad that I did. He’s safe but I flinched and he fell from about two feet and I’m trying my hardest to get the handling on point. Thanks

This happened to me. It looked like my beardie was all done with drinking and swallowing. I picked her up and she turned pure white, started wheezing, and ended up dying in my hands. I've owned reptiles for over 25 years and hands down the most devastating experience I have ever had. Be careful with your pets folks. Save their lives and save yourself heartbreak.

Good on you showing that snakes are friendly but what a fucking terrible enclosure, she’s definitely not able to thermoregulate in there, she only has 1 hide, 1 water bowl and that’s it, where’s the enrichment? Let alone the fact that that tank is just way too small looking at it it’s a 90x45x30 exo terra which is 120L or 30Gallons come on man a fully grown adult female needs at least a 75 gallon

Love the information on this, especially with the dewormer. Most parasites beardies get (specifically from crickets) are self limiting - will go away on their own after a few weeks, but are good to treat if the beardie is symptomatic (ie: diarrhea). Fenbendazole being probably one of the least harsh on the systems! (I do not recommend giving at the same time as the probiotic though as the medication can effectively just kill the good bacteria basically nullifying it; so I recommend giving it at a 12 hour difference at least; maybe prior to dosing the animal). Now vet med stuff aside; what kind of climate do you live in? My girl tends to slow down right about now too but still shows interest in wanting to eat her salads. My main concern during brumation is hydration levels, while I do my best to leave her I can't help but feel concern she may be getting dehydrated during these months!

I think you meant something like “Warning, the hidden dangers of bath time with a dragon”. That’s a million view title. Send me my money!
@boblabahh48934 күн бұрын
You can kill him whenever you want actually and bath time is no different. This guy sounds crazy, do not kill your dragon at bath time.
@olofskivarp4 күн бұрын
Wouldn't this be something that anyone looking up info for the animal they want to keep would know? It seem more crucial than the need to give them a bath, unless that's also insta lethal if delayed by a few hours

MAYBE if your bed wasnt so got damned comfy and you didnt hsve that amasingly soft blanket they wouldnt want to stay in bed all day 😂 i get baby blankets for my bearded dragon and i have a couple amazing pillows that he absolutely loves. I also have this little vibration/heated portable/rechargeable pill shapped pad thing tbst he loves to get a masshe from and it has like 6 settings of heat. He loves it. Its actually for menstrual cramps in women. Like $20 on amazon and he loves it. He will litterally pull it out of the cat bed i got for him to sit in the window. The pill shape fits perfect in tbe middle. Very smart bearded dragon.

I just got a ball python yesterday and it’s my first snake he’s very shy. For the most part I’ve just left him alone to let him get comfortable because when I take off his lid he kinda balls up or gets shy hopefully I can get him more comfortable with me

as I left my precious messages about my big boy ( all from last year)having tail rot, not eating correctly, you save his life with the cracking the back and tail trick, (that was the biggest problem his back) coming out of a just TERRIBLE AND SUPER DEPRESSING place. You've helped us with ALL of those things but he didn't brumate. Im worried he wont do it again.
