Just got a set of four, and I figured out the what I was doing wrong on the slave and master part thanks to your video, but I'm having trouble getting my remote to do anything. IRC sensor is on with the master stick, but Ive yet to be able to use it.

yes you need the Chauvet wireless transmitter

you can control them with DMX, you just need an extra piece for that

hiking and durability I seem to have to Baby them to keep them operational however I have not had any issues with the charge time or charging them and they seem to work all night they are also light and easy to set up and do not take up much room if I have to carry them I can almost place them anywhere so it works well with almost any venue especially if you really don't want to hang a big trust up but you want to place those around the room for dance lights that works really well I do always carry them in the case and I'm real careful with them I always place them on top of everything or they won't Bounce Around

You have no clue how to do a unboxing or review on a product. Even my 4 year old has a better video than yours on the Chauvet Slim Par 56. LoL!

you could have that problem too if two of them are transmiting at the same time on the same channel.

I know you have to hit the entee key after you select the recieve channel. After you do that set it to dmx channel and hit enter. if you have the stick set to recieve but have it set to run in sound active or program mode it will not recieve. after setting it to receive go though the menu to where you set the dmx channel and set it to one and hit enter to save. if that does not work try a different channel to transmit and recieve on. hope that helps.

Hey mate did you have any problem setting them upI set mine up for master slave initially just one would respond as slave, now two are responding as slave. The issue was once I ran the whole process per stick . it would receive a signal but for some reason revert back to its original setting. Any help much appreciated. cheers

jack i setup one as master. you set. it to transmit. set the others to recieve and ut show work. i will try to make a video today or tommarrow

yes they have lights on both. they will run with one as master and 3 in slave and will all react the same. you only need addtional hardware if you want to control them with a dmx board or phone app. you can set one to sound mode and tell it to transmit on a channel. set any others to receive on that channel and they will all work the same. so far that is how i have used them. they come with a remote that you can change the mode of the master and control the rest or you can manually ajust using the controls on it. i need to make a video on how to set this up.

I've followed the directions in the manual and master/slave mode isn't working. Any advice or tips?

if you run master and slave mode you do not need any addtional hardware

you need a dmx controller and chauvet wireless DMX transmiter to controll them manually. You can set one to master and the rest to a slave and they will all do want the master one does. i will see if i can make a video. in master and slave mode they will work independantly of the laser

I'm new to lighting, and don't know much about DMX, or running Master/Slave. Does the 4-pack come with what you'd need to be able to do this? Also, with my lasers, I just tend to run them at home in Auto Mode. Can these be individually programmable in Auto to simulate Master/Slave? Thx.
