I don’t think the egg and avocado qualify as purée as they have texture. That would be the soft food stage after purées? I can’t go from liquids to soft food with lumps.

Oh my gosh - baby food! What a great idea and thank you for suggesting that! I'm having a different type of surgery but will be on liquid the first week then graduate to very soft. Amazing idea!! Thank you again 😊
