It's nice during a cymbal comparison that the percussionist play the exact groove every time, Thank You. K's Sweet the best especially the vintage ones IMO, Constnantinople awesomebut pricey. And I was surprised with the ZBT's ... I have a couple of zbt crashes that are exceptional but they're rare to find, there around.

Better set and make DIY stacks mix and combinef zil oriental, zil splash, trasfhformer, or spiral. Maybe 12" oriental and 8" or 10" splash is enough for me

The S series is really good. I got to play on a dw kit with the s series cymbals at guitar center not too long aga and i was blown away how they sound in person and for that price its crazy. No joke they are good and cut for rock and heavy sound. Just for you beginners out there...get the s series if you dont want to spend k money

I own every one of these cymbals and then some with my superior drummer software and Roland digital ride. ;-) Still, nothing beats the real thing.... A sweet ride 23" @2:19, K Dark Medium 22" @6:02, K custom 22" Dark Ride @8:26 and a couple others. Love em!

Removed the stock heads and swapped out for Remo Coated Emperor (batter and resonant side). Results were fine. Looking to experiment further. Have you, or has anyone in the thread, tried Ambassador Coated (batter) and Ambassador Clear (resonant)? Or Ambassador Clear (batter and resonant)? Trying to open the sound up a bit. Thanks!
