Because this is an album that was published without Adam's permission and there was even a big legal battle over it. Adam doesn't recognize it as his own.

I believe this was released before he went on American Idol, so it’s been buried as that violates their contracts.

I don't know the entirety of the issue, it probably has to do with label contractual issues/copyright issues and artist image. I remember talking to Adam in early 2020 about a song on this album and he asked how I even knew it. I know it's pretty old and it's not very popular, but he doesn't seem consider it something significant in his career, at least outwardly.
