That's pretty cool, I'm sure the Australian cars have been ignored by the mainstream kit manufacturers, I've always liked the Australian Ford Falcons. BTW who has enough kits?🤣

Damn that’s cool, always liked the Holden’s, all of them. I saw somebody a while back , from down under, that showed a couple of Holden kits but I don’t remember who it was, but I do remember him saying that they were hard to get. What a bummer too. Anyhow, yeah, cool deal bud!
@petesmodelcarcustoms5847 күн бұрын
What a strange kit. It was looking really good but the underside is dreadful👀. Novel having pre-wired distributor 👍door handle cut outs👍and the chrome discs must be wing mirrors🤔. I think most Holden cars are powered by Ford engines 🤔. I enjoyed your first unboxing ,Ted 👍🍻and best wishes from jolly old England👍😎 Pete 🤓
@modelcarmadness51197 күн бұрын
Yea, I'm not a fan of kits with bottoms like that, good thing I'll only be using the body, that's what I bought it for anyway, I probably would have had to pay almost as much for a resin body if I could have even found anyone making one, so I'm ok with it.
@petesmodelcarcustoms5847 күн бұрын
@@modelcarmadness5119 yes I know. But I thought the kit had a strange combination of details. Some of it looked really good

As an Australian I can tell you Holdens were most defiantly NOT powered by fords. they were powered by holden straight six's holden V8's or chev V'8 Holden is/was a sister company to Chev.

I clean my acrylics out of the airbrush with 30% window cleaner 50% distilled water and 20% isopropyl alcohol. If I'm having a hard time are you straight alcohol. You use the others that does get gummy. Hope that helps. 😎👍

I had the same problems with some acrylic paints my wife gave me for my birthday they’re a paste I used distilled water and window cleaner they came out okay but my airbrush kept clogging up! great video thanks 👍🏻 👍🏻

Shame about that,Ted. They have some nice colours. Maybe,if they are aimed at craft use and brush painting,the particles may not be as fine as paint aimed at modelling. 🤔

I'd test it on something you don't care about. You need to know if its water or alcohol based to start and if its going to damage the plastic.
