This was the golden era of the circle. I saw them on this tour with my father. Year of the rabbit opened for them... they sounded very deflated not sure if that was normal for them. They opened the show with vanishing then informed us that Maynard (possibly James Iha too) were having flu like symptoms. They were such pros and put of an epic show... even not at 100%. This line up killed it.

I love how early Trent Reznor is like early Al Jourgenson (minus the fake British accent)

The Urge--my favorite band out of high school! Whenever Trent played with them, we would call all our friends from the pay phone and tell them to get there immediately to hear the awesome new keyboard player. Great memories!

Lol love this era cause lot of the bands were either too high or would just chat nonsense during interviews because they just be dicking around or didn't want to get too personal.

For being his first steps in music business is not bad at all. Interesting to see how some traits of what would later have been NIN are already present.
