@MiwaGardnerКүн бұрын
It is! I haven’t really used the small one because I just use blocks for convenience sake but the huge ones I do use often. I recommend it! It’s just cutting it straight at the end is what I find hard doing.
@karindodge98142 сағат бұрын
Instead of cutting the watercolor paper you can fold it a few times to weaken the fibers then tear it. You can use a ruler and it gives a nice deckelled edge. There are videos by artists about it. @@MiwaGardner

Yeah no, I can totally believe that we spend over 2K on art supplies. LMAO. When Michael Harding came out with his watercolors I just HAD to try them. And by try them I mean buy 50 tubes. Over 1K right there. But of course I HAD to get another sketchbook in the order, wine fineliners, set of 25 full sheets of Arches 300lb...............🤣🤣

🤣🤣🤣one carries on to the next doesn’t it?! Yeah I never got Michael Harding tubes… hmmm 🤔💭🎨💸💸💸 what’s kinda funny at least to me is how the thumbnail idea “spent…” came to mind. I found another artist that wrote “ I spent $200” and I was like “?! I probably spent more than that. Let me check!” And sum them all up and realized just then how much I used and went 😳😬😱 so yeah your “yeah no, I can totally believe” I related back too! Lol

Hello Ultramarine finest ❤️love your name as a fan of pb29 🦋 sounds like we share similar interests! Actually I was going to put the Derwent graphite inks as well but they don’t make it on time for the recording. Only coming in January 🤣 awww. Yeah I got lucky with the space i understand. I use to have a small place too. But guess what? I did like using those easels that have shorter legs and putting them on the desk when I needed to paint vertically (works well with the stretcher) and I feel I’ll be going to back to those ways still quite often. If you haven’t had a try, I’d give it a go! Ooo yes Rosemary and Co are really nice. Every brush I got from them has never not exceeded expectations. They even gave me a freebie paintbrush that I’ve been going back using quite often. Hope you love it too. Thanks for the comment 🙏

My tip is to travel with your tube brush holder. Take a thin wooden kebab stick which is longer than your brushes,place it in middle of brushes, wrap with rubber band securely. This means if your tube is tipped upside down in travel, your brushes will not get damaged. Hope this helps. Teresa
