There's a compartment underneath the back seat cushions! The cushions flip up and there's a door that allows you to access the battery.

Do you ever receive trackers from the dealer with issues I recently received my new v175 pro guide and the port side consol wasn’t fastened at all. Starboard side kick plate was screwed on over the storage by the floor so I can even think about opening it. It going back to tracker but was just curious if u have ever seen anything like that. Also beings I felt the need to fine tooth comb it after I found these problems I checked the gear case oil and had to put half a quart in it. Needless to say I’m not at all happy and haven’t even had it in the water yet

We do on occasion receive boats that need some extra attention. We go over each boat after we receive it to make sure our customers don't have to deal with anything once they take a boat home. We hope that everything gets taken care of for you!

@@Dandrsports It’s been a nightmare. I brought the boat back and made a deal with the service manager as it’s 100 miles to get there. I bought a Garmin uhd73sv I wanted on the consol and they were going to install it for me and leave the old graph in the boat so I could mount it on the trolling motor. Which was awesome that they would do that. But I got home after receiving the boat and they cut my transducer cable off. So I spliced that. When I was taking the gunwale piece off there was a self tapping screw in the bay star steering hose. Then I took off the side cover for the trolling motor and there was 1 self tapping screw in each side holding the trolling motor on. No rubber bushing between the base and the boat and no bolts. It’s very frustrating to pay 35,000 for a new boat and have all these issues

@@jiggyjay682 so you would be happy and wouldn’t wonder if other people have these issues after spending 35,000 on a boat that’s all screwed up. They fixed the stuff I noticed before I put it in the water I fixed the rest because I didn’t want to drive three hours to bass pro to get it fixed again. On of which was a live well hose that wasn’t hooked up and had to take the back deck off to hook it up after it filled the boat with water. Besides I’m on the lake and have trolled for three hours and gone before all you kayak yuppies get out of bed so I don’t talk to to many people at the “ boat docks” lol.

Honest opinion on this exact boat. I own a 2021, the anti-fatuige mat is a joke because it covers such a small front deck area but feels good bare footed. The center rod box is at some weird angle that keeps you from storing 3700 planos sideways. Stores more standing them up but it works once you figure out how you want to store things. Rod box is great lights are ok but you block them once you load your boxes up. Need lights on the lid. Ice chest not well insulated. Tool holder is not well thought out use big tool or they fall through but easy to get out also a trip hazard. Passenger rod holder is crap, puts rods on bad angles. Now for the good everything else, OMG! I love it I can write a book on it ride etc. The lower unit is or at least on mine a 1:85:1 ratio and snaps on pad in 2.2 sec. Check out boat test on the 2021 model fuel mileage is great at 3000rpm 6mpg no other hull is even close. Empty 68.6 mph loaded out 2 people 66.7 mph. I give it a 4 1/2 stars. Because things like Passenger foot glove box should be standard. $400 to order one

Why don’t they take the time to ensure the quality craftsmanship of their deep-v aluminum boats. My brand new 2021 VX1888 has been a nightmare since day one. But Ranger Boats do any seem to care about the consumer. It’s all about the money!

Hopefully they fixed the glove box issue. I have a 2020 v18 combo. Brand new. First trip out left outside uncovered next to camper at campsite durring rain and glove box filled up with rain water. Absolutely no drain ports in glove box. This happened twice. First time we lost my digital scale and copilot remote due to water collecting in it. Ever since then, the glove box stays empty. Wasted space now.

Yes, it is possible! It would void the warranty on the transom though. Just something to keep in mind!

We don't have any Sun Tracker boats in stock, unfortunately. With how things are looking right now, it'll likely be really difficult to find one for this season. We'd recommend ordering one now so that at the very least you'd have one for next year. Many of our ordered boats are already out as far as September or later.

Just ordered mine a week ago 2022 Model As for the gel coat issue that will happen with any boat if you do not take care of it period. Had my old 2006 17ft Nitro and the gel coat did not wear out until last year and still it was not a bad wear on the coat. Love Skeeters and Pheonix boats if you have the extra 20k lol and Nitros are known to be a LEGO boats easy to add what ever you want later down the road. As for the haters will haters be haters or as i say in the tech world fan boys will be fan boys lol.

I purchased a brand new boat a few years ago from dnr once they got my money they could give a shit about any problems I had, boat had a massive scratch on the bottom and numerous other problems my entire experience was a nightmare. I haven’t stepped foot in that place sense
