Hi Kellie, great video. I want to warn you about the Frixion erasable pens. I had written several things in my journal and left it in my car . The heat of the day made the ink completely disappear. I was devastated. A lot of the gel inks do the same. I'm currently using Sharpee ink pens, I like the .07.

As much as I like writing out scripture I don't see how I am getting anything out of it when I am busy making sure I am writing the verse correctly. I sometimes lose my place and add in the wrong words/verse. I find I lost my place and wrote part of one verse and part of another and end up messing up the page.

Write it out on a scrap piece of paper first. That’s what I do.

It’s crazy how you watch a video to learn how the artist made their piece and then all of a sudden in the middle of the video you hear a heartfelt story that relates to your own struggles. Wee idea for you for your alcohol ink is to use a straw to control direction a wee bit easier, or saw “copycat Jill” using an empty washing liquid bottle. Loving this series

Anyone who is watching this series has full intent to make some kind of crime themed something. If they couldn't handle your red ink testing segment, they should just stick to foo foo flowers & bunny rabbits. Great job! I have so many idea now. I had no idea there was so much crime/detective ephemera on Etsy....wow. Loved your list. It was very helpful.

Love love love these kits! My only complaint (has nothing to do with you lol) is the kits are listed by "stationary, fussy cuts, envelopes", not subject matter. What a shame! And they all seem to be like that. I can't wade through 100s of random pages.... Why on earth would a seller do that? Ah well. thank you for the links to these kits anyways. 🙂

I fully agree! I suppose it comes down to whatever odd keywords people use. That's why I tend to find designers I like and stick with them. I figure lot's of people are like me so I'm excited to share good finds with our crafty community. :)

I'm a newbie to JJ - only made Art Journals - a member of Finnabair Mixed Media group on Patreon. But I so want to learn how to make my own JJ - to dare, what cover to use if you don't have a book cover, how do I start, with what HOW?!......etc I got what I need, but I always overthink everything. I have been watching YT videos for approximately 2 years now, subscribe to many, joined a group on FB - but I need to do it in my own pace. I'm not like I was when a lot younger. It takes time today also because of my CRPS diagnosis. But founding this made me jump - if I could lol - you gave me some mojo here. I watch live trials, so I'm a law nerd too. Fanatic when it comes to serial *iller* etc. I'm a former Psychiatrist. Yees I'm babbling - just Thank you so much for sharing this - love the theme & the look!❤❤

Hi there! Thanks for the comment. No, I don't think I'll sell it. I'd never thought about selling any of my creations. Most of the time it's just for me and kind of like therapy. Plus, I use my projects to inspire future me ;)
