Sunil Nivalkar Does it really make a huge difference whether he addresses our beloved city as Mumbai or Bombay ?? What's in the name ?? I have been living in Mumbai for 20 years and I still refer to it as Bombay. There are instances where people still call Chennai as Madras. I would kindly request you to stop quarreling on such petty issues and try to fathom the larger message being delivered. Thank you.

Sunil Nivalkar I am a muslim...i hate Swamy for different reasons. I dont hate marathi manoos. Whats there in a name?? If its officially Mumbai..let it remain Mumbai but when we say Bombay we are referring to the same thing. Aren;t Marathi and maharashtrian the same thing?? why should someone tell me that i should call a person from Maharashtra marathi instead of maharashtrian. Or why should i call Ahmedabad ambdavad or If i call Delhi, Indraprashta..what is their problem?

I appreciate you have revealed yourself. It doesn't matter you belongs to which religion or your dislikings. I don't agree with you on naming. If my name is Sunil, somebody call me 'Sunya' or call you 'Za'. Is it correct. I remember, I had nick name in my house, but my parents don't like if outsider call me with that name. If somebody say or do anything in house or non-public area, it doesn't matter. But when matter comes in public, it should be ethically followed. My objection was for the same. Names, Histories, stories are always getting destorted by outsiders. Its our duty correct it and care not to be getting destorted.
