Great project, made the machine and it works, half! Strange thing is that in Ableton Live it all works fine. In Studio One 7 however (my main DAW) I can´t generate notes on the right sensor but I can assign CC7 on the left. Please help me out here. Thanks!

What about FX paddles? What type of potentiometer/switch is that? Would also be neat if we could add-in LED screens for onboard controller feedback.

I spent some time looking for non returning joystick and only found one. They turned out to be of such poor quality that they failed after very little use. Do you know of any of reasonable quality?

Hello!!! First of all, I must admit that it's a great job!!! I watched many of your videos, but in none of them did I see you show how to connect Piezo to Arduino Pro Micro to trigger percussion instruments via midi. Could you show it? I am asking you for it!!! Thank you and greetings from Poland

I've had endless issues with the Pro Micro. They seem to have connection issues even when I've just received them. Even the standard de-bricking techniques don't seem to work.

I am still missing one piece of info. How can I build a MIDI controller that is standard MIDI compatible. My stage rig consists of a keyboard, MIDI patch bay, and 3 rack modules. Not one USB anything, only standard MIDI I/O. Any hints?

Thanks for the video! But when I use Arduino mega the midiusb library is not recognized. Maybe another library should also be loaded? For my project, Leonardo does not have enough memory.

I'm thinking of building something like this for a project class. Do you think 15 weeks would bd enough time to build a basic controller (12 keys, leds that light up when a key is pressed, etc)?

The schematics mention using a 35uf capacitor, but that seems... really big? Could this be a typo? I'm not an electrical engineer and not sure how to calculate the right values myself!

Speaking of MIDI controllers. You should have used yours to turn up the volume of your custom controllers so we could actually hear them. Arduino is sold in the US bro.

Ahhh! You are my muse, dude! I love that content. 🙂 Years ago I watched the German guy Götz Müller-Dürholt because I was satisfied with my edrum hihat controller (MPS-850) and I thought ... hmm ok. Let's see... Great guy. Later you and Dave from @NotesAndVolts, great DIY projects. I finally finished my first prototype MIDI controller. I wanted to build just a 4 fader controller and now bought a 3D printer for that and designed an enclosure. HA! And now, it has NeoPixel illuminated MX keys and a OLED display. And then, I was programming a menu and needed to write some code for the LED lighting and the ProMicro ran out of memory. Damn! Anyway. I am gonna switch to the Nano ESP. Thanks a lot, for your efforts. If you are interested in what it looks like... I put a few pics in my community section.

Good to know you can switch the UNO to be recognized as a controller! I've been looking lately at a little box to switch my presets on my synths w/o touching the synths.

Hi Gustavo, about the Raspberry Pi Pico: how do you program it? In Python or C++ ? And what IDE do you use? VSCode or Thonny or what else? - Very interesting you channel. Many thanks. Greetings from Italy.

So does the aduino stay in the pedal or can you program a stand alone chip to run the pedal? I’d be using it for channel switching on a amp

Grande mestre, Gustavo Silveira... Excelente tutorial. Vou "Compartilhar"...
