It’s kind of like when you’re in school and the teacher makes you do a group project vs. just doing the project on your own. It’s a totally different experience! When it’s just you, you don’t have to worry about what anyone else is doing, or if they’re falling behind. Definitely makes sense!

I appreciate you sharing about the difficult friendships. I have definitely been there, and like you said, it is truly freeing to break away from those toxic friendships! They definitely cause a lot of pain, so I’m glad you’re finding some healing. It takes a lot of courage to rock the boat, so…way to go! It’s SO worth it!

Wow, I didn't see your comment until now. Thankfully I caught it here in Hootesuite. Yes, I've been on this channel off and on and I plan to start rebuilding this one and get it up and going. And I agree- having a media kit would be very helpful for your channel, especially.

So excited for you, Demetria! Being recently retired from full-time work means time to wonder about whether I'd like an online business, besides my freelance work. I'm sure your book could be very helpful in helping me discern that.

It was always great working with you, Demetria. I'm at a stage now in my 60+ years where I'm paring down my work to part-time. I'm a first-time grandmother, and thrilled that I can have more time to help my son and daughter-in-law. I don't know if I'll ever come up with my own designs that generate additional income, but I do know that there are many women in my age group who venture into a "second act" career for a little extra income. I'm glad I was able to provide some encouragement. Best of luck getting your book all ready for Amazon!
