Erick Rush, you did Jonah and his family proud. A great tribute by Erick. 👏👏👏👍👍He was much loved worldwide. I had the pleasure to meet him in London in Parklane where I live. He looked like a giant while I was looking up at him getting a nose bleed. 😂😂

Im a kiwi football fan...loving watching NF and Woodsy'🙌🇳🇿💪❤️But the kinda anti forest sentiment that dribbles from their mouths is like listening to 12 year olds!Disrespectfully shite....All.i can see is a team with collective ambition and desire.I see no division ...just a team of lads giving their all...not moaning...or buying into "you missed a sitter mate!!!Instead ultimate reply from Woodsy "..yeh contact not quite best result"...but ya kinda just keep.believing after those kinda moments✌️And thats what u want...100% belief!Go Forest..top 10 would be fab effort...but maybe just shock them all...with No chance of relegation🙌🚀👋👌🌞👏

His flame shone ever so brightly only to be extinguished like so many way, way too soon. Seems that God had other plans for him. He was an amazing player as a competitor but i also heard of how he was a gentle soul. Being married to a Kiwi (im Ozzie) i feel a connection. But truth be told you dont need a connection to see he was an inspiration to so many and definitely put Rugby on the world stage, heck even we used to scream Jonahhhh when we busted down the line or through a tackle in a game of touch or at the beach. that is the mark of a champion.

Ive so repeated , listened and watched Erica Rush's beautiful memorial speech on behalf of the players. What a wonderful insight into this inspiring man Jonah. I remember when the AB's were at the Institute of Sport at Massey University, Palmerston North. Our company provided and catered for the AB's meals, this when the team coached by John Hart, Wayne Smith and co. Every time after the meals, Jonah wiould come to the kitchen door and say "Thank you, Ladies '. We would all smile and comment on his good manners. He was very humble and importantly a very respectful person. It was a pleasure knowing you Jonah, though very briefly but you left a great impression. RIL and peace ✌️🕊️ Jonah. This memory shared from Brisbane 2024!!

Great speech by a Rugby great about probably the greatest Rugby player of all time. Measured by the difference in class between Jonah and any other contemporary, he is unlikely ever to be emulated. A great person too, gone too soon. Even as a Wallabies supporter, I cheered for Jonah. He was that great.
